Every month I try to guess what scent will be featured based on the sticker that’s placed on the outside of the box (see previous picture). I think I’m going to like it a whole bunch!
Everything was tucked into shredded paper squiggles.
I found a card that announced the May theme, In Bloom.
The back of the card gave a little intro to this month’s theme and items.
Next was an insert on the products.
The insert gave a little info for each item, its MSRP, and listed a website in case you need more.
The items not only smell good, they are also pretty to look at and fun to use. It’s no secret that this is one of my favorite subscription boxes!
Everything in my May 2019 NOSEJOY box!
Spongellé Daisy Body Wash Infused Buffer ($12) My older daughter was with me as I opened this box and she was excited to see this product, she loves Spongellé!
The product is a sponge that is infused with soap and fragrance that is released as you scrub up. You can use it for around 14 washes before running out of soap.
I was happy to see that the sponge now has a ribbon so it can be hanged to dry between uses. The scent is very floral with notes of plum, rose, and musk.
Skin Apothetique Iris Soy Body Whip ($5) is made with soybean oil and this scent is called iris, with notes of amber and pear.
Ingredients were listed on the back of the product. It has citric acid, which may help exfoliate skin.
It is very creamy and left my skin feeling slick. The scent is unique and is deeper than I was expecting it to be. It also lasts a long time and you won’t need to wear perfume.
Blossom Beauty Lavender Cuticle Oil ($7) Here is another product my daughter was excited about because they use it at the nail salon she visits!
It says it is infused with real blossoms, although the ones in the bottle are most likely just for show, they look like statice. The oil does smell like lavender although it is the perfumey type and not the essential oil type. Safflower oil and mineral oil are the first two ingredients and provide the moisturizing effects.
Illume Sugared Blossom Happy Little Diffuser in Sugared Blossom ($12, out of stock) It looks like this isn’t carried anymore of the Illume site but I found it on Amazon for $28.99! Find it here.
Instructions were on the back.
It included some reeds, which you place in the jar.
There was a plastic stopper on top of the jar. My husband had to use pliers to remove it from the bottle. Not all of the reeds would fit in the opening.
The scent is sweet and sugary and reminds me of one of my favorite perfumes, English Laundry Signature for Her!
NOSEJOY always sends a lovely box with excellent curation and exciting finds. My favorite item this month was the reed diffuser, it is sweet and reminds me of one of my favorite perfumes! The value for the May box was around $36, or even more than that if you take into account that the diffuser is sold for more than twice its MSRP on Amazon.
Have you tried NOSEJOY? What do you think of this box?
