Lootaku is a monthly geek subscription box from Hong Kong packed with high-quality geek and gamer items. The subscription costs $49.00 per month + shipping (currently about $17 to the US), and you’ll get 4-6 themed products, like plushies, action figures, memorabilia, etc., to satisfy your geeky cravings monthly – no fillers or promo items!

DEAL: Save 5% when you use this link and code DISCOUNT5.

I like how the outside of the box is designed like a chest!

The one who finds this chest shall be granted treasures of unimaginable value.

The sides are sealed with a sticker to ensure it won’t open during shipping!

I am so excited to see all of this month’s items!

The contents are all protectively packaged.

The theme this month is OVERPOWERED 2.0. The item information card, or Loot Table, is thick and glossy. It contains lots of details! When there are variations, it typically lists each possible variation you might receive.

All the goodies inside the May 2019 Lootaku Box!

Bleach Pin ($12) This month’s pin features Ichigo Kurosaki doing his signature move, the Getsuga Tenshou, or Moon Fang Heaven-Piercer.

It shows Ichigo in mid-swing while doing his well-known move. As he swings his sword, fire is coming out of it. You can also see that the outline of the fire is in glittery red.

Like most of the pins from this subscription, it has 2 posts to fully support its weight. The pin I got is the 408th out of the only 410 produced.

Hunter x Hunter License ($15) The Hunter License is an invaluable card that a Hunter exam passer receives. The card may not be replaced once lost, and according to stats, one in every 5 Hunters lose it within a year after receiving. The front of the card shows the rank of the licensee.

The back has a magnetic strip with a unique serial number that identifies the individual to their license.

“Select Your Character” T-Shirt ($20) To pay homage to anime fighter games, this month’s shirt features powerful characters from different anime series! Also, the shirt is labeled as the 115th out of the only 410 produced shirts, which makes it really special.

The centered design resembles the player select screen of fighter games!

It includes Hisoka from Hunter X Hunter, Phoenix Ikki from Saint Seiya, Hiei of Yuyu Hakusho, Whitebeard from One Piece, Genos of One Punch Man, Tetsuo from Akira, Kenshiro from Fist of the North Star, Guts from Berserk, Sanosuke of Rurouni Kenshin, Sarutobi from Naruto, Cell from Dragon Ball, and Kenpachi from Bleach.

Bleach Zanpakuto Pen ($10) From Bleach, we got this Zanpakuto, also known as the Soul-Cutter Sword, in the form of a pen!

The package contains the pen barrel (which is the sword’s sheath), an extra ink cartridge, and the cap, which is the sword’s handle.

The Zanpakuto is the main weapon of the Shinigami, Arrancar, and the Visored. Zanjutsu is the art of wielding and using the weapon.

It also came with a Katanakake, or a sword mount, which consists of 4 easy-to-assemble parts.

The Katanakake is the best way to display and be proud of your weapon.

The Katanakake has 2 holders, one for the main pen, and the other one at the bottom is for the extra ink cartridge.

One Punch Man Genos Figure ($30) This box won’t be OVERPOWERED 2.0 without something really powerful in it, and for this month, the figure I got is Genos from One Punch Man!

For the Overpowered box last month, I got Saitama so it’s just right to also get his buddy.

The figure has a total of 3 parts, and they’re nicely contained in a plastic bag.

Genos is a cyborg and the disciple of Saitama. He is aiming to become more powerful and fights for justice as well.

Under the Hero Association, he is given the name Demon Cyborg or Oni Saibogu. He is also ranked 14 in S-Class.

Genos has a handsome face, which looks normal, but his body is entirely mechanical. He also has spiky blonde/brown hair, and his ears are pierced. He is seen mostly wearing sleeveless tops to allow his arm to transform easily.

Another OVERPOWERED box, filled with cool items! I love the shirt because it features some of the best and most powerful characters from different anime series! I also like the inclusion of Genos as this month’s figure, it’s perfect to stand with my Saitama figure from last month’s box. The Zanpakuto pen is another standout. It even came with a pen mount, which I can easily display on my desk. I love the Overpowered boxes, and I am looking forward to an Overpowered 3.0 box!
