Korres Natural Pure Green Soap in Pomegranate ($5.86) This glycerine-based face soap can be used on any skin type but works best on oily skin. It helps remove skin impurities, and it also has mild antiseptic and toning properties that help tighten the pores.
The soap also contains pomegranate extract, a good source of vitamins (A, C, and E) and minerals, tannins, anthocyanins, and antioxidants. It’s quite useful in fighting off free radicals which cause premature skin cell aging.
To use this soap bar, just work into a lather, cleanse the entire face, then rinse.
Ecooking Peeling Mask ($14.61) Ecooking is a Danish skincare brand that created this peeling mask. Ideally used weekly, it helps maintain the skin’s youthful glow and boosts the skin’s smoothness.
The peeling mask contains natural plant extracts and vitamin E to firm the skin and to minimize the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. It also has alpha hydroxy acids (lactic, salicylic, and glycolic acids) that help remove dead skin cells.
It’s not recommended to be used before going out in the sun. To use, cleanse your skin and apply the mask evenly, then let it work on your skin and do its magic. It may feel tingly on the skin but it’s not too overwhelming. You can remove the remains or excess of the mask by rubbing.
Filorga Ultra-Lifting Cream ($12.52) Another product that deals with skin aging is this ultra-lifting cream formulated with special ingredients. It contains Plasmatic Lifting Factors® with Cell Factors, collagen and hyaluronic acid that tighten the appearance of features and gives the skin a nicer complexion. I love that the cream also has botanical ingredients that work with my skin to help it restore the tone and firmness while leaving it with a smooth texture and a beautiful finish.
Bumble And Bumble Surf Spray Salt Spray ($4.70) This sea salt spray easily adds volume and texture to hair, so you can enjoy beachy waves all year round. To use, just spray evenly to damp or dry hair. The formula contains naturally occurring seaweed that softens and smooths the hair. Other ingredients are the kelp extract which works to give shine to your hair and Epsom salt which imparts astringent action.
BioEffect EGF Serum ($32) It’s a serum formulated to restore the skin’s youthful glow. It’s ideal for a night time routine as it repairs the skin while you’re having a good night’s sleep. It can work alone so there’s no need for other skin care products on top of this serum. Just add 2-4 drops to clean face and neck, and let the product do its wonders while you sleep.
SVR Soothing Cream ($16.78) The eye area, especially the area where we contour and apply color, is finer and more sensitive compared to the rest of the face. This soothing cream addresses that area and helps soothe irritation, reduces redness, moisturizes, restores the skin barrier, and protects the skin from other external aggressions.
This month, the box is full of age-defying products that I can definitely use! My skin gets usually dry and dull, so I love that they included these skin-loving items that promise youthful glow and shine. I also like the hair spray that will definitely hold my tresses well, giving it more volume and beauty. The serum is my hero product this month as I can use it alone, without the need for any other products on top of it. For a $22 box, I am so happy to get almost $87 retail value of amazing products! I especially loved the variety and uniqueness of the products this month!
