This month’s box features a collaboration between COCOTIQUE and Suave. All Suave items are full-sized. Yay!!! ?

Each month, there is also a note from founder and CEO Dana Hill. The focus for this box is on self-care essentials; a reminder to do some post-winter pampering.

There’s a list of contents with prices for the full-size product, websites, and a few promo codes for extra sweet savings.

Everything in my box! Can’t wait to try out the foot gel to get my feet sandal ready.

This note card was a bonus in the box, and I absolutely love the Van Gogh quote and watercolor print. Remember, you never know what you can accomplish if you never try. Silence the doubts in your mind.

Daily Concepts | Multi-Functional Soap Sponge Charcoal ($8.00):  This is a full-sized item. Based on the size and picture on the website, I am assuming that this is a facial cleanser. The textured sponge assists with mild exfoliation to improve the texture of skin. Meanwhile, the charcoal-infused formula removes impurities and deep cleans. I gave this to my father, who recently learned the benefits of a facial brush. He liked the soap sponge and was surprised by how good his face felt after using it.

Kamedis | Hydrating Foot Gel ($10.99):  So, this was the item that I was most excited to receive and it did not disappoint! The moisturizing gel was very soothing. I applied after showering and it helped to lock in moisture without being greasy. The formula is paraben and dye free. It includes a blend of Chinese botanicals known for their anti-bacterial, anti-microbial, anti-inflammatory, and sebum regulating properties. These include Chinese Rhubarb, Cnidium Fruit, Licorice, and Baikal Skullcap.

Suave Professionals for Natural Hair | Natural Shea Butter & Pure Coconut Oil Sulfate-Free Cleansing Shampoo ($4.99):  This shampoo is paraben, sulfate, and dye free. According to Suave, the shampoo is “formulated as a curl enhancer and to make hair easy to detangle while taming frizz and enhancing shine.” I am not so sure that I agree with this. The shampoo did a good job of deep cleaning my hair, but it left it feeling a little stripped. I have fine hair, so this could be the reason. My niece has thick hair and didn’t feel the same way.

Suave Professionals for Natural Hair | Natural Shea Butter & Pure Coconut Oil Moisturizing Curl Conditioner ($4.99):  This conditioner is paraben and dye free. However, if you are trying to avoid petroleum products, this will not be for you. The third ingredient on the list is petrolatum and the fourth is dimethicone (silicone oil). These tend to be “no,no” ingredients for a lot of natural hair ladies. Regardless, I liked the conditioner. It had great slip and restored the moisture I felt I lost with the shampoo. When dried, my hair felt soft and manageable.

Suave Professionals for Natural Hair | Natural Shea Butter & Pure Coconut Oil Define & Shine Serum Gel ($4.99):  My info card says that I should have received the Curl Defining Cream, but I’m happy with this serum gel. Plus, there’s no difference in price! I apply this after my curl primer while my hair is still damp and it helps to give my hair additional shine and curl definition (I air dry my hair). It doesn’t weigh down my curls or leave them crunchy. It also helps control frizz, which is a major issue in Florida with our crazy humidity levels.

vitabath | Heavenly Coconut Crème Body Cream with Coconut Extract ($0.99×2 = $1.98):  I am not a fan of coconut scented products, but I didn’t mind this body cream. The fragrance is a blend of coconut, vanilla, and sugar. It’s a little sweeter than I like, but not overwhelming. Enough about the smell, let’s discuss how it works. This left me feeling silky smooth and relieved a dry patch on my elbow. The formula has been clinically proven to improve skin’s moisture by 82%! Ingredients such as Shea Butter, Cocoa Butter, and Coconut Oil provide intense hydration. While extracts of Acai, Goji, Coffee, Noni, Pomegranate, Green Tea, and Mangosteen protect skin. But don’t forget the conditioning benefits of Vitamins A, B3, C, E, and Pro-Vitamin B5! Plus, the cruelty free body cream does not contain parabens, phthalates, propylene glycol, or dye.

I love when Cocotique does brand collaborations because I am able to get a range of products designed to work together. The Suave Professionals line for natural hair was a win. Although the shampoo wasn’t my favorite on its own, I could feel the benefits from the conditioner and serum gel when they were used together. And let’s not forget the foot gel. Trust when I say that it will be a regular part of my post-shower routine. What was your favorite item? Let me know with a comment below.
