We Love Single Women

At SinglesSwag, we do not subscribe to any societal or cultural expectations on women. We believe a woman’s happiness is determined by her outlook and attitude, not by her relationship status. We love to make single women look and feel beautiful, while empowering and inspiring them. We hope that our monthly package, created with love and delivered right to your doorstep will contribute to your happiness and well being. Never settle.

And here’s the March SinglesSwag box! You had me at kettlecorn.

The information card contains a brief description of each item and its value. This month’s quote is, “put yourself at the top of your to-do list every single day.” Don’t forget that your first priority is to yourself… you are important.

Manna Kadar | Beauty Sea Minerals 3-pack Bath Bombs ($15):  I wasn’t able to find these exact bath bombs on the Manna Kadar site. The link that I’ve connected to is for a 3-pack of 100g bombs and retails for $10. This set contains three 30g bombs. So, I’m not sure if the retail that SinglesSwag has listed is correct. I think these would be closer to $5. Regardless, these bath bombs are infused with a soft floral aromatherapy scent. Drop them into a warm bath and let go of your stress.

skinChemists | London Rose Quartz Lip Plump ($32):  Yes, the link is for a UK based site, but they do ship internationally. The formula uses extracts from the Kiss Me Quick plant to stimulate production of hyaluronic acid and peppermint oil to enhance the plumping effect. It also contains Vitamin E to nourish and protect skin from UV rays and free radicals. Having naturally full lips, plumpers are not something that I have a use for (sorry, no fish lips for me). So, I will pass this onto a friend.

kevia Style | Iconography Necklace ($75):  This necklace features a 30″ long, black rhodium-plate chain with a 2″ circular gold plate pendant. The pendant is 18k gold plated. I really like the modern simplicity of this piece. It is very versatile and can be worn with a variety of looks – easy to dress up or down.

So, I guess I photographed this necklace on the wrong side… the ring should be smooth, but I really liked the look of the etched side. Anyway, here’s a closer look at the etching on the pendant because I like it so much. LOL!

And who doesn’t like a discount?!? Use discount code SSWAGWINTER on your next purchase to receive 25% off (valid until Feb. 28th).

Oogie’s Snacks | Original Kettlecorn ($3):  Love that this kettlecorn is made with just 4 simple ingredients – popcorn, sugar, sunflower oil, and salt! Plus, it’s 40 calories per cup. The popcorn is light and airy with a good crunch factor. It isn’t overly sweet and has a balance of sweet and salty. I tore into this as soon as I opened the box, I was so excited. I do have a little issue with the listed retail… an 18-pack of this is around $23, making this bag closer to $1.30.

lauren b. Beauty | Nail Growth Serum ($75):  lauren b. is a favorite with SinglesSwag and has had several items in previous boxes. I have thick nails, so this nail growth serum will be gifted to my sister who is letting her nails recover from a long term of acrylics. I think lauren b. does a good job of describing their formula.

Salvation for fragile, brittle nails that refuse to grow. This sheer blend of amino acids, antioxidants, Vitamins E and C, peptides and biotin sinks in instantly to boost natural nail growth and strength.

LXMI | Pure Nilotica Melt ($28):  Before I talk about the skin balm, can we just note how pretty the packaging is? LXMI has partnered with Vlisco, renowned maker of Dutch Wax prints, on the “Fleurs de Mariage” design. Vlisco, a leading maker of luxury textiles for the sub-Saharan African market, shares LXMI’s mission to #givework and end poverty via sustainable job creation and ethical business practices.

Now, onto the balm… This is a 100% organic, single-ingredient balm-to-oil. It nourishes skin to help smooth visible imperfections. The texture starts as a butter, and then absorbs quickly into skin. The micro-crystals found in the Pure Nilotica Melt will dissolve on your skin. You can use as an overnight mask or throughout the day where needed. I found this a bit heavy to use throughout the day on my oily skin, but did like it as a mask.

Oh K! Beauty | Cooling Reusable Eye Pads ($12):  I wasn’t able to find these exact eye pads on the Oh K! Beauty site (sorry). The packaging is super cute!!! I almost didn’t want to take out the eye pads. To use, pop these into the refrigerator, then placed the chilled pads over your eyes to reduce puffiness.

Even as you relax with your eyes closed, it will seem that you are watching the room. LOL! ?

Bonus Item – manduka yogitoes | 12-pack Headbands ($28):  Love that there are multiple pieces in this pack – 4 each in navy, gray, and maroon. I think we’ve all sweat through a headband and didn’t have a backup for later on because laundry wasn’t done. With this 12-pack, you should have enough to cover you between loads. These headbands measure 8″x4″ and are 94% organic cotton and 6% Lycra. They’re lightweight, soft, and absorbent. The colors are created using AZO, lead, and heavy metal-free dyes. These were between $36-$48 on manduka.com.

The box lured me in with kettlecorn and bath bombs… but I am SO going to get a lot of use from the necklace and headbands. The March SinglesSwag box had a listed value of $268. Even though I found some price variances on individual items, my total was almost the same.

Now, I’m off for a little “me” time that includes getting pampered. What items were you excited to try? Let me know your thoughts by leaving a comment below.

Whether you’re single or attached, I think you can enjoy this box. Plus, what a great monthly box if you’re searching for something to replace your monthly POPSUGAR Must Have Box!
