lookfantastic Beauty Box is a monthly beauty subscription from the UK. This box is currently $22 per month, but goes down to $16.50 per month on an annual plan and ships free to the US and Canada! In every box, you’ll get a hand-picked selection of must-have beauty fixes, which are wrapped in a beautifully presented box and delivered straight to your door. It will always include a minimum of six products and the latest issue of Elle UK!

First peek!

There is a magazine by Look Fantastic in each box – this includes the product information, makeup tutorials, style highlights, and other features. I really like the way the mag is laid out, often there are interviews, beauty tutorials, and spotlights on the products and brands included in the month’s box.

A copy of Elle UK is also included each month!

Skin Chemists Rose Illuminating Glow Hydrogel Eye Pads ($6.36) — I do love undereye patches. They help to soothe and depuff, as well as hydrate. I keep mine in my skincare fridge for an extra icy treat. Despite being called rose, these actually don’t have any rose in them. The key ingredient is Rhodiola Rosea Root which is actually a an herb that grows in cold climate! It’s an antioxidant that brightens the skin.

Avant 8-Hour Retexturing and Anti-Oxidant Facial Serum ($113) — Nope, not a typo — this is full size. Interesting how sometimes a fullsize will be included with less-fancy packaging for a subscription box, but holy moses this serum sounds amazing. Hyaluronic acid is a humectant which draws moisture onto the skin, and another ingredient included is lipoic acid which is another antioxidant.

Polaar Norther Lights Smoothing Cream — This is Polaar’s newest line which we get to try! The star ingredient is Siberian Olive which contains 30 times as much Vitamin C as oranges. There’s no size printed on it, but beside the Avant serum it’s probably around 20ml and the fullsize is $44 for 50ml.

Wella Nutri-Enrich Deep Nourishing Mask ($3.36) — Love a hair mask. LOOOOVE them. My hair is colour-treated and super dry, and a hair mask like this is a weekly staple for me. The Wella mask has goji berry, chock full of antioxidants to keep hair strong and smooth.

Minetan Gradual Tan Extender — MineTan is an Australian brand focusing on the art of the fake tan. Their products are innovative and they seem to have a solution for every skin tone which is great. The Everyday Glow is a moisturizer with just a hint of tan in it — a great way to build up a bit of a glow or to extend the life of a tan you already have. I embrace my pale skin and won’t use this myself but I love that they included a product that is suitable for all skin tones.

Mellow Cosmetics Lipliner ($12) — This gel lip liner lasted a LONG time. It’s a peachy nude colour and it applies like a dream.

Swatch! It was creamy and smooth, and didn’t budge. (I still have it on my hand after washing them!)

The May box had a great selection of items, with the hero item definitely being the Avant serum! The tanning product seems suitable as we head into warmer weather, too.
