The 2019 version of FCS of the month features $40 in value every month, with 1 full-size product and 3 deluxe samples. See all the details here. There will be a $10 discount code off $25 purchase that expires in 30 days emailed to you with your subscription.

A card is placed on top of everything and the items were wrapped in a blue tissue paper.

This month’s script soap paper features a silhouette of a flying Peter Pan and a note that says “take me to Neverland.” I love the purple background color!

May 2019’s theme is STRAIGHT ON TILL MORNING!

Everything in this month’s box!

Mermaid Lagoon Fortune Cookie Soap. This item made me so excited to open it. I’ve read so many interesting scents of this soap on the information card and I was so curious about how it would actually smell.

Oh my! Look at all that glitter! In case you’re wondering, it’s legit soap that’s shaped into a fortune cookie with an actual fortune paper inside. It looks so pretty and it smells amazing too! I could make out the hints of peaches, apricots, and vanilla, but the coconut scent stood out the most.

Our fortune says “when there’s a smile in your heart, there’s no better time to start” and I definitely agree!

The Boy Who Never Grew Up Shampoo Bar. This next item is also interesting. It’s a shampoo bar that is all-natural and conditioning. It’s specially formulated with the most playful scents such as a tropical margarita.

The bar itself has a pretty green color with a fruity, fresh scent. My hair and scalp actually felt nourished after use. It’s pretty amazing for a shampoo bar!

Tink Argan Hair Shine Serum. It’s my first time to see this kind of bottle from Fortune Cookie and I think it’s kind of unique for them. It contains hair shine serum that promises to tame even the most damaged hair types.

This serum also polishes and hydrates hair strands. I smell a whole lot of coconut and summery kind of fragrances which would still stand out even after my scalp gets sweaty from the heat of the sun or after a day’s work.

Second Star To The Right Perfume Oil. According to the info card, this perfume oil is infused with crushed berries, mint leaves, a splash of sparkling pomelo and iced sugarcane scents, but when I tried it on, it seems to have that floral fragrance that lingers. I have yet to see how it will smell when blended with my favorite perfume.

Kiss Lip Scrub. This lip scrub is vital for removing chapped, dead skin and to help the lip balm or any lip product to penetrate well and re-balance the lipid layer. I smelled that bubble gum kind of flavor when I uncapped the jar! I tried rubbing a small amount of this product on my lips and it felt really nice.

Wendy Bird Aloe Me Whipped Cream. I’ve always dread of having dry skin not just during the cold winter season, but also in the sweltering summer days. This whipped cream is said to pamper, hydrate and nourish the skin after a day in the sun.

A scoop of this blue gel-like product applied generously on my skin gave me that cool and moisturizing feeling. I fell in love with it more because of its tropical scent. In addition, I’ve learned that it can be placed in a freezer for a more refreshing effect so I might try doing that.

Almost everything in this box is new to me, that’s why I was so thrilled to discover and try out the unique items that they have curated for me this month. I just love how they always coordinate everything with the theme from the packaging to the colors and the fragrances! My favorite of them all is the lip scrub. I fancy the watermelon bubble gum smell though it doesn’t taste anything like it. I just enjoyed how soothing it felt on my lips and how it kept them smooth and soft. The whipped cream is my second best. Now I’m curious about what they have in store for me in the next box!
