The books are sealed in a brown Kraft paper with an orange grosgrain ribbon. It also looks like a perfect gift, and we’re ready to unwrap it!

There’s a note that explains what we are getting from this package. It also explains why it is important for the kids to read as early as possible.

There are library book cards that we can stick to each book if ever we are going to lend them to some friends!

Everything in my box!

Clark In The Deep Sea by R.W. Alley ($14.99)

Clark and his brother and sisters are stuck on their front porch on a rainy spring day. When a stuffed bear is flung off the porch into a puddle, the backyard becomes an ocean, and Clark, with some help from his siblings, embarks on a deep-sea diving rescue mission.
Full of classic charm, this satisfying fantasy is one of four small books each starring a different sibling and season by the children’s book veteran R. W. Alley. Look for Mitchell on the Moon and Annabelle at the South Pole in Fall 2016.

The book is actually one of the 4 books that feature each different sibling, and a different adventure!

The inside flap of the book jacket tells us more about the story and what to expect!

The illustrations are really endearing. The kids love how colorful and entertaining they are!

The story really sparked the kids’ imagination, and they really enjoyed how resourceful and imaginative the protagonist of the story is as well.

Girl & Gorilla Out And About by Rick Walton ($14.72)

Meet Girl and Gorilla—a brand-new picture book duo from Rick Walton and Joe Berger!

Girl and Gorilla are best friends. Girl and Gorilla want to play at the park. But how will they get there? They can . . . Hopscotch! Or jump rope! Maybe they can just close their eyes and wish they were there! But when they open their eyes . . . they are not at the park. Will Girl and Gorilla ever get to play at the park?

Instead of text, the back cover features an illustration of the girl and the gorilla hanging out.

It looks like another fun adventure! The book is for 4 to 8-year-old kids but may also appeal to older kids.

It’s another story that shows how imaginative the kids are.

Aside from giving us a good adventure, the book also features some outdoor games that the kids can actually try. After seeing this picture, the kids want to try hopscotch outside!

Both books this month have great adventures, and the kids really loved them. They like the story of the girl and the gorilla, as it introduced them to the things that they can do outdoors. Clark’s adventure under the sea is also fantastic. Both have outstanding illustrations that really gave us a full picture of what’s happening in the story. We’re looking forward to the next books, and what adventures they’ll bring to our family!
