This month’s featured coffee is THREE AFRICAS!

Blue Bottle Coffee‘s notes do a great job of laying out the growing conditions and peculiarities of each coffee. More than any other coffee subscription, Blue Bottle tries to capture the feel and essence of its coffees rather than declaring flavor notes with absolute authority, but they do give you a good place to start. The tasting notes are usually dialed in pretty well.

Everything in my May 2019 box!

Blue Bottle Coffee Three Africas – It’s made from the luscious combination of two radiant fruit coffees coming from Ethiopia, namely Yirgacheffe and Sidamo, plus a washed coffee from Uganda.

Featured in front of the coffee bag is the name of the coffee, its weight, and the date it was roasted. Blue Bottle Coffee makes sure that all the coffee they send are always fresh.

The coffee also comes in resealable packaging, so you can maintain the freshness of the coffee beans for a long time, even without transferring them to another container.

Inside the pack are perfectly roasted dark whole bean coffee with a smooth texture and aromatic scent.

These beans are ideal for all brew methods including pour over, French press, coffee maker, espresso, cold brew, and many more!

Three Africas features very complex notes of golden raisin, blueberry, and lemon zest flavor with a little taste of bourbon whiskey, and savory musk.

I particularly like its smooth rich finish. This is definitely the kind of coffee that I want to sip to start my day.

Despite the complex notes, this coffee was well-balanced and not too acidic.

This month’s featured whole bean coffee from Blue Bottle Coffee is amazing. It features another unique blend of flavors and mesmerizing scent that would definitely make a great mood setter. Unlike ordinary coffee, Three Africas provides a well-balanced combination of notes that are appealing to my palate. If you are a coffee lover like me who wants to try a variety of coffee from around the world, this is the coffee subscription you must try!
