It includes puzzles, games, experiments, and recipes that are of high quality and safe.

The box is personally addressed to the children with everything you need like the materials, instructions, and magazine.

We are greeted with a uniquely laid out box that features the 2 crafting activities and its materials.

It is designed to fit the needs of the UK Royal mail – but in the cutest little flat box! You know this one is really going to grab and go!

Every box includes colorful stickers. For this month, we got stickers featuring different kinds of musicians!

Everything in the box!

Every box also includes a fun magazine for kids.

This month’s box is carnival-themed!

There’s a detailed story of the adventures of the STEAM team to the carnival. It’s a fun read!

The booklet also contains various on-page activities, like this one where the kids can draw all the items that could sink at the bottom of the ocean and items that can float at the top.

The featured recipe for the month is Marshmallow Slime.

There’s even a coloring activity!

Another drawing activity is about drawing our own carnival structure.

My son immediately worked on the activities in the booklet. He loved it!

It’s carnival time! We’re supposed to decorate this part of the booklet using the stickers provided in the box.

They are encouraging subscribers to share experiences and projects from toucanBox on social media using #toucanboxmag.

This month’s pack contains 2 crafting activities, Honey Bee & Bamboo Beehive and Multicolored Mice!

Here are two cute stickers relating to the crafting activities!

Activity No. 1: Honey Bee & Bamboo Beehive Making. For the honey bee project, we used the bee body, sticky back eyes, wax sticks, stick, and split pins.

According to the booklet, this activity needs a bit of grown-up assistance.

Using the stick, poke a hole in the middle part of the body, then insert one end of the wax stick and wrap it around the middle of the body.

Wrap the yellow and black wax stick until the body is fully covered.

Once the body is completely covered with yellow and black wax sticks, carefully put the eyes, sting, and wings on top of the bee’s body for the finishing touch.

We also got here bamboo sticks, rubber band, and pipe cleaner for the bamboo beehive project.

This beehive is easy to make. Just put together all the bamboo sticks and, using the help from a grown-up, stretch a rubber band over each end to hold them in place.

Do a small hook on both end of the pipe cleaner and knot it on the elastic bands to form a handle.

There we have our own bamboo beehive and a cute little honey bee!

Activity No. 2: Multicoloured Mice Making. For the next project, we’re making multi-colored mice. The materials included are felt bodies, felt ears, sticky back eyes, jumbo pipe cleaners, and a sticky back noses.

According to the booklet, this project also needs slight grown-up assistance and has the same messiness level as the first activity.

We started by twisting the two jumbo pipe cleaners together and inserting it at the bottom part of the felt bodies, making it the mouse’s tail.

Next step is to fold the felt ears in half and thread through the slits in the body. Pinch and pull it to shape like the mouse’s ears.

Once the ears and tail are properly placed, it’s time to stick the ears and nose for the final touch. Repeat the same procedure for the other mice.

This part of the activity booklet is about coloring your own reptile pet.

Actually, I don’t like mice especially the huge ones, but these mice we got here are cute and colorful!

This month’s toucanBox is hit with my children! All the activities were made to enhance a kid’s artistic and crafty side while strengthening their perseverance and patience to finish each project. I really appreciate that they provided all the materials we needed to complete the activities. I also like the booklet, it adds extra fun to the box through its on-page activities. This is definitely an ideal box for a great family bonding time!
