There’s a booklet on top of the snacks.

The box is filled to the brim.

This month’s theme is TUTTI FRUITY.

The booklet contains everything you need to know about the items inside the box. There’s also a message from the Tokyo Treat Crew and an instruction on how to activate your box for rewards!

Of course, there’s a list of the items we should be expecting in this month’s box.

This part of the magazine features Sakura Japanese Sake Kit-Kat and DIY Kit Strawberry Soft Cream!

Discover Japan page shares a bit of Japan’s local culture every month. This month, it’s about strawberries in Japan. They even included Japanese vocabulary words.

They also encourage you to share your experience with Tokyo Treat by using #tokyotreat on your social media post.

Lastly, there’s a fun activity related to the theme.

Everything inside the box!

Dotaro Crispy Flakes. These are curry-flavored chips that make a perfect topping for your udon or Japanese noodle dish. Each piece is crispy and tasty!

Sugar Rusk Umai Bar. This month’s featured umaibo, or cylindrical corn snack, is packed with so much sweetness! Every bite is sugary and there’s even a hint of butter, plus the crunch is just so satisfying.

Strawberry Soft Cream DIY Snack. This month’s DIY snack kit is a strawberry soft cream, which includes 3 cones, 1 packet of flavored powder, and 1 plastic spoon and tray. It’s so easy to make, you just need to pour the powder into the plastic tray, pour 2 teaspoons of water, and mix. Once the mixture solidifies, carefully put it on top of the cone, and you’re done!

Strawberry Mochi. This cute little pack contains two fluffy rice cakes more commonly known as mochi. It’s so soft and so squishy, plus it also features a sweet strawberry filling. This treat is best consumed with a cup of hot coffee or tea.

Tohato Caramel Corn Puffs. Tohato is a staple corn snack in Japan. We got them in share packs this month and in caramel flavor! The corn puffs are light, airy and sweet, perfect for your sweet tooth cravings.

Cherry Mochi. This mochi candy is the real deal. Each piece is soft, square-shaped, and chewy. What I love about it is the rich cherry flavor that explodes in the mouth!

Chobo Chobo Cookies. These cookies are made from potato starch, instead of the regular wheat flour, making it much crispier and much sweeter. I wish we had more than one pack because it’s so good!

Ginza Rusk Pink Strawberry Biscuits. We got another strawberry flavored snack and this time it’s a pack of strawberry biscuits! It’s a bit sweet and a bit tangy, and every piece was really crunchy and infused with strawberry white chocolate.

Calbee Potato Pizza Mayo Mentaiko Chips. The usual potato chips are made better using a spicy pizza flavor. I can definitely taste the mayo and the spicy mentaiko (pollock roe) in every bite, all that’s missing is a can of ice cold beer!

New Mochitaro Puffs. Mochitaro puffs are made from rice puffs bits. The taste is a well-balanced mix of sweet and salty. I also enjoyed munching on it because it was so crunchy!

Hello Kitty Strawberry Lollipop. It’s a Hello Kitty-themed lollipop that features a sweet peach flavor and a classic oblique spheroid shape that looks like a candy gem.

Fanta Yogurt Banana Mix. At first, I thought it was just another hyped carbonated drink, but I was totally wrong. This limited edition drink from Fanta is unique and refreshing. You can really taste the banana and yogurt flavors in every sip, but it wasn’t overwhelming!

Ginbis Matcha Chocolate Corn Puffs. Chocolate and matcha flavors in corn puffs sound like a crazy idea, but it’s really tasty. Each piece is light, airy, and star-shaped. If you’re a big fan of matcha, you’ll probably love this snack too!

Sakura Japanese Sake Kit Kats. I’ve tasted a lot of different versions and flavors of KitKat, and this one here is definitely one of its kind. This month’s featured KitKat features a cherry blossom flavor, which is a mix of floral sakura notes and Japanese sake or rice wine.

Inside the pack are 12 individually wrapped sweets to share with your family and friends. The coating contains the sake flavor, while the cherry blossom flavor is in the cream between the wafers. The scent right upon opening it is enticing and every bite is pure heaven!

Tokyo Treat is always jampacked and this month is no different. The theme Tutti Fruity was well-represented by the strawberry flavored snacks, and there were other delicious snacks as well, including savory and sweet ones. We loved everything in the box, most especially the KitKat featuring cherry blossoms and sake. It suits the season well and it makes us even more curious about the Japanese spring traditions. If you love Japanese snacks like us, this subscription is a great choice both value wise and content wise! You’ll also get to learn a thing or two about the country!
