There’s a booklet on top of the snacks.

The box is filled to the brim.

This month’s theme is EASTER SURPRISE.

The booklet contains all you need to know about the items inside the box. There’s also a message from the Tokyo Treat Crew and an instruction on how to activate your box for rewards!

Of course, there’s a list of the items we should be expecting for this month’s box.

This part of the magazine features Easter Banana Kit-Kat and DIY Kit Choco Banana!

Discover Japan page shares a bit of Japan’s local culture every month. This month, it’s about Easter celebrations in Japan. They even included Japanese vocabulary words.

Another note says we’re getting the newest limited edition Pepsi Cola flavor, J.Cola Sakura!

Everything inside the box!

Easter Banana Kit-Kat. KitKat is already a staple in Tokyo Treat boxes, and we’re not complaining! This month, they sent a limited edition banana-flavored and Easter-themed party pack. It contains 12 pieces of individually wrapped KitKat featuring 12 different possible Easter designs and 1 golden design. The taste certainly did not disappoint, it tastes like real banana with milk but it wasn’t too sweet!

Pepsi J-Cola. I’ve tasted a variety of flavored Pepsi Cola drinks, and this one is definitely the best and most unique so far. It features a sweet cherry blossom scent with a strong Sprite-like taste blended with yummy cotton candy flavor. Definitely a must-try drink, it’s a double thumbs up!

Calbee Garlic Edamame Potato Chips. Made from premium quality potatoes, these chips are baked, not fried. What makes it stand out from the usual chips is the slightly sweet Edamame flavoring complemented by the salty garlic taste. Each piece is crunchy and tasty!

Tohato Caramel Corn Tiramisu. Tohato’s caramel corn puffs are undoubtedly delicious. This time, they put a chocolaty twist to it by adding cocoa powder and rich tiramisu flavors enhanced by coffee. Tiramisu is actually an Italian cake, but it is widely loved by the Japanese people so they’ve incorporated it to many snacks like this one! Each piece is sweet and tasty, just like the actual dessert.

Corn Potage Crisps. This snack is simply amazing, it’s like you are eating a corn soup without any soup involved at all. It’s a crispy and tasty snack made with delicious crackers. I would definitely love to have more of this!

Okin Milk Coffee Crisps. Milk and coffee flavors are combined in these nibbles. It’s ideal as a quick snack, especially if you need something to keep you awake and running!

Good Moist Chocolate. For chocolate fanatics, this treat is for you! It’s a pack of bite-sized chocolate bread with chocolate coating and fillings. It melts easily inside the mouth, you don’t even need to chew!

Furuta Egg Chocolate. Easter celebration won’t be complete without an Easter egg!

The egg-shaped container is filled with colorful bite-sized crispy coated chocolate candy. They look almost the same as the M&M’s, the taste is pretty much alike too!

Fujiya Anpanman Mini Chocolate Lollipop. Anpanman is a candy hero that delivers a smile to every Japanese kid. His face is featured on this lollipop with a well-balanced combination of milk and chocolate.

Calbee Kappa Shrimp. This month’s featured sharing pack is a Kappa Shrimp. We got four of them!

This snack is savory and crunchy. It’s strongly shrimp-flavored and a perfect partner for an ice cold drink.

Sherbet Cola Candy Stick. This delightful treat includes a sweet lollipop to be dipped in a sour, bubbly, and sherbet-flavored candy powder. It’s an explosion of flavors in one pack!

Collis Chocolate Banana Soft Candy. For this month’s featured DIY treats, we’re making chocolate dipped banana candy! The kit includes a plastic tray, a banana flavored soft candy, a stick, some sprinkles, and chocolate dip. This candy is so easy to make. You just put everything inside the tray, take the banana candy using the stick, dip it in the chocolate cream, put the toppings, then enjoy!

Dragon Bar Umaibo. Another staple in our box! Umaibo is a puffed corn stick snack with a variety of delectable flavors. This month’s featured umaibo was made in collaboration with Puzzle & Dragons, a famous online game developed by GungHo Online Entertainment. Its flavor is ginger ale, which is a bit peppery.

Rice Puff Bar. It’s a crunchy puffed rice snack with an addicting sweet soy sauce flavor. It’s so light, yummy, and absolutely satisfying!

We’re ready to celebrate the Easter season with this bunch of delicious snacks from Tokyo Treat! They never fail to amaze us with every box, especially because many of the treats they feature are not easy to find in the US. I love the banana-flavored KitKat, but what really stood out for me is the limited edition sakura-inspired Pepsi. It’s so refreshing and it definitely makes me want to visit Japan and see the cherry blossoms for myself. Overall, this is a great box with a great variety of Japanese snacks. I can’t wait to see more unique and local flavors in future boxes!
