Stitch Fix Men April 2019 Review

Hello Subscription may earn compensation via links in this post. Read the full disclosure

Stitch Fix Men is a personal styling service customized to your fit, lifestyle & spending preferences. Just like Stitch Fix for women, your stylist will send you 5 pieces based on your profile for you to try on at home. You only keep what you love, and you never have to set foot in a mall! There are no coupons for Stitch Fix, but if you love everything in your fix, you save 25% when you keep the whole fix (read below for details)!

Your fix comes neatly bundled with a return envelope and styling guide.

Here’s how Stitch Fix Men works: First, you fill out your style profile. This includes style, budget, and what you’re looking for – you can get as detailed as you want with the notes to your stylist. Your stylist is very responsive to your requests and will work hard to find pieces that fit your declared style, so the more info you provide, the better your selections will be. After trying them on and deciding what to keep, you return the pieces you don’t want in the prepaid mailer (free shipping!). Your stylist takes note of what you kept (and why) and what you didn’t, along with any additional feedback you provide, so your clothes selections become better “tailored” to you over time.

We see great compliments in your future.

The green envelope contains a run-down of your Fix and a styling guide.

Every Stitch Fix box includes styling cards showing a couple looks for each item in the Fix. There’s usually a dressed up (right) and more casual (left) version for each piece of clothing. Now you can see your past items in your Stitch Fix profile, which is an awesome feature!

If you keep everything you get a 25% discount. This is why it is so important to be detailed and accurate in your profile, as it increases the chances that your stylist will run the table and score your great clothes and a discount (without having to keep anything you don’t really want). You will check-out and get charged through your Stitch Fix Men account. You’ll be charged a $20 styling fee and shipped five items to try on at home. If you keep anything your styling fee will be applied to your order, but if you don’t, you will pay the $20 fee. As you can see on the invoice, we joined the optional Style Pass program, so we paid a single, annual styling fee (with unlimited Fixes) instead of $20 per Fix.

I like that they just stack the clothes neatly and don’t make me tear through multiple plastic bags.

Everything in my fix for April 2019. You just have to unfold each item to see how they look.

Sperry Striper II CVO Washed Canvas Sneaker ($60) The first item I got was packed in an exclusive Stitch Fix canvas drawstring bag.

It’s a pair of lightweight, flexible washed canvas black sneakers.

The sneakers feature a relaxed and breathable canvas upper section with a reinforced rubber outsole and genuine rawhide laces.

These shoes have a removable full-length footbed that adjusts depending on your feet, making sure to provide you a maximum and long-lasting comfort.

Sperry Striper II also features a unique non-marking rubber outsole with its trademark molded wave-siping for superior wet and dry traction.

These shoes definitely pair perfectly well with broken-in shorts or khaki with crew-neck sweater on top.

Flag & Anthem Harrell Textured Short ($44.50) Ideal for any casual day, this short is soft, lightweight, and comfortable to wear. The textured fabric makes it more stylish.

The short has side pockets, zipper fly, and button lock waste.

There are two more pockets at the back with button-lock and reinforced loops on the waist in case you want to wear this with a belt. I really love the look and the feel of the fabric.

Tailor Vintage Sailboat Graphic Tee ($24) It’s a muted red crew neck tee made from shrink-resistant fabric. It looks perfect with the textured shorts from earlier!

It features a vintage black sailboat graphic design on the chest part.

Grayers Malanga Cove Stripe Tee ($38) The next shirt I got is a striped blue tee made from 100% premium cotton fabric.

Aside from the classic stripe design, it also features a small pocket on the upper left side of the shirt which is barely visible.

On the left part of the hem is the logo of Grayers Clothing.

Flag & Anthem Danny Burnout Polo ($39.50) I got another Flag & Anthem item in my box, and this time it’s a powder blue polo shirt.

This 3-buttoned easy-to-adjust polo shirt is made with premium quality sueded cotton fabric.

It also comes with its own embroidered logo on the bottom left part of the hem.

Stitch Fix Men is as impressive as always! This month, I received sneakers, awesome tees, a cool polo shirt, and a casual short. All of them are high-quality and the styles are perfect for spring all the way to summer. My favorite is definitely the Sperry sneakers. They’re lightweight, stylish and, most importantly, comfortable to wear. It’s also quite versatile because of its classic color. This subscription is truly a great resource for any guy who lacks time or style confidence, as they provide a handy combination of curation and convenience. They also do consider my clothing preferences, and they don’t forget what’s appropriate for the season! This was a great selection for my vacation clothing needs.
