Stitch Fix Kids is a personal styling service for kids clothing ranging from sizes 2T to 14. At $20 styling fee for each box, you’ll get 8 to 12 items with retail prices ranging from $10 to $35. You will be asked to share some styling preferences when you sign up for this box so that the items included will be curated accordingly. If there are clothes that don’t fit your kid or your sense of style, you can always return them by the return envelope included in the box. If you do decide to keep all of the items, you will get 25% off on the whole box.
This subscription is branded similarly to the women’s and men’s Stitch Fix lines, but with some bright colors thrown in for fun!
They really try to make the experience fun for kids. The inside of the box is cute and colorful, and they even suggest some creative projects using the box.
If there are any clothes that you wish to return, they provide a postage-paid return envelope for hassle-free shipping.
The kids’ box includes a sheet of stickers with some cool, kid-friendly designs. How cute!
This month’s Fix included a challenge card. This time we have to make our own train!
There’s an envelope from Stitch Fix Kids!
Inside the envelope is a personal message from the stylist and a rundown of the items in the box.
Here’s a list of all the items included in this month’s Stitch Fix along with their size, color, and price.
They don’t have a styling guide like in the other Stitch Fix subscriptions, because of the number of items in the kids’ box.
Here’s the activity sheet included in the envelope. It’s nice that they added some challenging activities for the kids to do.
All the items are neatly packed! They just stack ’em and wrap ’em in tissue, so you don’t have to open a ton of plastic bags.
Everything in my box!
Sperry Everyday Striper II Sneaker ($35) The shoes come in a cute yellow zippered bag.
It’s a pair of classic, beige-colored Sperry sneakers!
It features a traditional lace-up motif with fabric laces and rust-proof eyelets, and a hook and loop strap for a more stable and secure fit.
The insoles have a unique removable footbed made from memory foam, keeping your kid’s feet comfortable.
Sperry Striper II also features a unique non-marking rubber outsole with its trademark molded wave-siping for superior wet and dry traction.
My son likes it! The pair fits him well, and he says that it’s light and comfortable.
Primary Mc Coy The Classic Chino Short ($18) This grey chino short features a button-lock waistline with a pair of deep side pockets. Casual yet classy!
It also comes with a pair of back pockets and hoops to run the belt through. From spring to summer, this short is an ideal choice for a casual get-up.
Sovereign Code Herman Short Sleeve Henley Tee ($16) To pair with the short is this two-buttoned round neck tee. It’s in dark blue, with thin black stripes.
Definitely a great pair! Both of them were soft and breathable to the skin. My son loved it so much!
Cotton On Kids Short Sleeve Interactive Graphic Tee ($16) Graphic tees are always a hit with my son and this one is not an exception. It’s in green and features a “monster” eating!
There’s pizza, french fries, hotdog sandwich, ice cream, and a drink! Yum!
The mouth of the “monster” is covered with a mesh cloth and the outlines of its teeth are embroidered. These give the design a dimension!
Andy & Evan Ismael Printed Pull-On Chambray Woven Short ($18) The second pair of short is a grey pull-on. It has a drawstring waist, a pair of side pockets, and classic polka dots design.
It also comes with an extra back pocket. This short is so soft and very easy to wear. Another great choice for any casual affair!
My son thinks this pair is cool. He’s excited to wear it for a stroll outdoors!
Rumi + Ryder The Classic Everyday Sport Short ($16) Another comfy choice is this soft and stretchable short with a drawstring waist.
It’s in burgundy and I think it’s lovely! There’s also a pocket at the back.
It’s a bit sporty as well and my son likes it.
Hollywood The Jean People Khalil Short Sleeve Flip Sequin Graphic Tee ($16) This shirt is just like the text on its print… totally jawesome!
It’s a blue colored tee that features huge sharks! Four of them sport a weathered style…
…and one is made using reversible sequins. It’s shiny silver in front and red at the back.
Of course, it’s another hit! Aside from the fantastic design, my son also loves the comfortable fit.
We can’t help but flip the sequins. Seeing it turn from silver to red is just amazing!
Big Chill Christof Swim Printed Board Short ($16) We’ve found the perfect short for the beach! It’s made of polyester and nylon, and it features a drawstring waist.
It’s thin and lightweight, plus it doesn’t absorb a lot of water so it’s indeed the perfect short to wear for a beach trip.
Andy & Evan Olivier Stretch Twill Pull-On Short ($18) Comfort and style are both present in this pull-on short! It’s in navy blue, with side pockets and a striped drawstring waist.
At the back, there’s a pocket secured with a button.
It’s a bit loose but still comfy enough for my son.
PX Pull-On Jogger Conversational Print Short ($18) Lastly, we’ve got a tropical-themed short!
It’s a light gray short featuring mini coconut tree prints all over. The hem is also folded.
The fabric is soft and breathable. Although the colors are monochromatic, it does bring that tropical vibe!
Stitch Fix Kids did a great job this month! The shirt and short pairings are a hit with my son. He certainly loves all these casual clothing items, while I’m delighted that we can simply mix and match everything. Of course, my son also loves his new sneakers. They fit him comfortably, plus the color and design make them quite versatile. I really love how this subscription makes it easy for us to grab fresh items for my son’s wardrobe. Everything is perfect for the season as well! Can’t wait for next month’s fix!
