Play! by Sephora is a monthly subscription box that brings only the best and exclusive Sephora beauty and makeup samples. The subscription costs $10 per month, and you’ll get 5 deluxe beauty products, playlists, a fragrance bonus item, plus coupons you can use when you visit in-store.

If I see the black and white stripes, Sephora box is here!

Your subscription also entitles you to PLAY! Date meetups if your store participates. I don’t even have a Sephora (not even a JCP one) but this box totally excites me even without those experiences. I love the high-end brands every month for just $10.

This time, they used a pink transparent plastic to wrap the items instead of the usual red one.

The fold-out poster has a really cute illustration of this month’s theme and a lot of helpful tips on skin care and makeup. Plus, a reminder that you can now use your Play! Pass online! That little card is a PLAY! Pass that will get you 50 extra Beauty Insider points with a purchase from the box, in-store or online. You can also get a complimentary mini makeover!

This month’s featured beauty tips and tricks are perfect for spring.

This month’s theme is Winning Beauty! The fold-out poster also shows a list of all the items included in this box.

Everything in my box hide] (variation #261)[/hide]! See the spoilers for all the variations here. Your box could vary – it’s built off your profile!

IT Cosmetics Brow Power Universal Brow Pencil in Universal Taupe ($7.71) This pencil takes eyebrows seriously. It’s packed with anti-aging powerhouse ingredients that deliver a cutting edge brow enhancing technology. I love how it’s thick enough to work with just one swoop!

With Brow Power, there’s no need for sharpening. It has an amazing oval tip that mimics the shape of real hair, so all I have to do is twist the pencil up and use it to get that perfect brow transformation. The universal taupe shade also blended naturally with my hair color.

Urban Decay Perversion Mascara in Black ($9.23) This super intense mascara has an ultra-creamy, lengthening and volumizing formula that coats each lash and deeply nourishes it for a bigger, blacker, bolder eye look!

Its full-bodied texture has the ability to make even the thinnest of lashes a deeper and more intensified appeal. The high-tech brush features a twisted trim that latches on to each lash to separate and define it without leaving a clumpy residue. This is one of my faves and I’m always pumped to have more.

Peter Thomas Roth Cucumber Gel Mask ($4.88) This gel acts as a comfort blanket for a suffering skin. Its cucumber extract aims to nourish, hydrate, soothe , calm and de-buff.

It wonderfully eases the soreness and calms the skin during flare-ups or breakouts and it’s perfect for soothing wind-whipped skin. Sephora suggests using it as an overnight mask, but no thanks – I prefer rinsing it off!

Sephora Collection Triple Action Cleansing Water ($1.49) It’s my new instant skin refresher! Since I’m always in a hurry every morning, I can simply use this no rinse micellar cleansing water to quickly remove shine and dirt from the day before. It’s quick to use. I just put a few drops of it on a cotton pad and dab away! It leaves my skin hydrated and refreshed.

Youth to the People Adaptogen Deep Moisture Cream ($7.25) When we step out of the house, we can’t help but be exposed to the daily stressors such as UV rays and environmental pollutants. That’s why this cream is made to calm the skin and fight any reaction that they may cause.

Compatible for dry skin types, it has a creamy texture that’s quickly absorbed by the skin making it deeply moisturized and younger-looking. I’ve received this a few times in various boxes and I always enjoy using it – it’s thick and rich!

Clinique Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm (95¢ ) I can now easily get rid of tenacious makeup and sunscreen with this non-greasy and non-drying cleansing balm from Clinique.

With the use of my fingertips, just simply massage the balm over a dry face and then rinse it with warm water afterwards and then use a clean towel to pat it dry. Three simple steps to follow to take my makeup off gently and quickly. Plus, I only use a small amount to get the job done. It’s super amazing and it’s nice to see Clinique get into the cleansing balm game.

I was quite sad when I didn’t see any perfume sample among the products they sent me this month, because it’s one of the things I always look forward to in this subscription, but the skincare products compensated for that. I now have new potential items to add to my daily morning and night skin regimen. I’ve got my eyes specifically on the cleansing balm and the refreshing cucumber gel mask. They’ve given me great results. My box this month had a value of about $30!
