nmnl is a monthly beauty subscription box by the brains behind Tokyo Treat and Yume Twins. This is the new and improved nmnl! For the last few years since their launch, they have only included Japanese beauty brands but have taken subscriber wishes into consideration and have redesigned it to feature both Japanese and Korean beauty!

DEAL: Use coupon code HELLOSUBS at checkout to save 10% ($3.50) on your first box!

The items were wrapped in pink tissue paper. This month’s theme is Spa Night.

The booklet has also been redesigned and features the same content as before, from box contents to contests and photo features.

Berrisom Mask — A fun printed Opera mask. The design I got features red wine as one of its ingredients, which has amazing antioxidant properties to protect the skin. Plus the fun design makes wearing it extra silly.

Lemon Makeup Wipes — A generous package of face wipes. I found these worked well as a light refreshing cleanse but didn’t fare well against my waterproof makeup. Perfect for a morning cleanse or to keep in your bag for after a work out; the lemon is so energizing!

Princess Snail Hand Cream — Snail is one of my fave Korean beauty ingredients. It’s amazing for treating inflammation, which means it works on pimples and even bug bites. This hand cream is very hydrating and has a cute design on it.

Shea Butter Moisture Cream — A really nice and smooth body butter with shea butter, olive oil, and hyaluronic acid to keep you hydrated from top to bottom.

The Saem Cherry Water Tint — A sheer red lip tint that can be layered for a deeper colour. Watery tints like these are tricky, because they tend to adhere better to dry skin than to smooth skin. My bottom lip got a nice wash of colour but it would not stay on my top lip at all.

Popu Face Sponges — A set of cute house-shaped sponges to apply makeup or product to your face. The angled edges are meant to let you get into small corners and creases.

Foot Sponge — A more gentle alternative to a hard pumice stone. This sponge will gently buff away dry skin.

The house sponges! So cute!

Konjac Sponges — Konjac sponges are great tools to use for washing your face, because of the gentle exfoliation they provide. I have a bunch of them infused with different things (like charcoal for balancing oil) so this one is going to be gifted. It’s so squishy!

This month’s box was kind of repetitive and boring. We got three sponge tools and two lotions… it just didn’t seem like there was much variety.
