This is a review of The Helping Animals Box!

The box provides materials, simple ideas, and easy-to-do activities to help connect you and your kids to “do good” opportunities in your area.

Everything inside the box is packaged in a green tissue paper sealed with a heart sticker.

We are so excited about this kit from For Purpose Kids!

Everything in the box!

There’s a card that features an encouraging message from Deepu, a boy from India. He supports wildlife conservation by donating money and volunteering at a shelter. It’s because he loves animals so much!

Like last time, they included fun activities for the kids to work on.

On one of the cards are 5 suggestions to help animals. It inspires kids to take part in the mission.

On this one is a list of the items in the toolkit.

Moon’s Messenger by Virginia Kroll ($15.09)

Moon´s Messenger reminds us of the importance of conserving and respecting the environment, and that we can all help to protect nature and biodiversity.

The beautiful words and illustration at the back cover will really entice you to read the book.

The lines are written in a lyrical way and the illustrations are quite scenic.

This opened our eyes about the truth on animal extinction and also touched our heart because it made us want to take a step to help save the animals.

This book took us on a magical journey with real-life situations. It’s a beautiful book to read, enjoy and discuss with my kids. They really learned a lot from it.

These small wild animal action figures add more excitement and interaction during reading time. They are not flimsy like the other plastic animal toys plus they are colorful. Now we are planning to start our little diorama shadowbox project and display them in it!

The Reminder Bracelet. This accessory is not just meant for fashion. It’s also a great way to be reminded of how we should protect our planet and that everything in it should be loved and cared for.

It features a sea turtle charm dangling from a waxed, adjustable, blue nylon string.

This bracelet is simply adorable. I think it can also work as a cute anklet.

It looks pretty on my daughter’s wrist. Now she has a constant reminder of the story and our mission to save the animals from extinction.

Origami: Animals You Can Create. Another classic and brain stimulating activity! The origami comes in different models that are easy to make and fun to play with.

At the back of the package, you will see a detailed description of the set’s inclusions.

We can make a bunch of paper animals with this kit of 36 sheets of high-quality origami paper with unique patterns and different colors.

It also includes step by step instructions with illustrations that are quite amusing to follow. Some of them are quite complicated to make like the elephant and the horse, but my daughter was determined to do it!

First, she picked which animals she wanted to create and what papers to use for each.

Then she started to fold the pieces one by one until she could construct shapes out of them. She carefully followed the steps shown on the pamphlet.

Her busy fingers moved meticulously and with precision.

She made sure that she folded the paper smoothly and in exact measurements.

She was happy with her work! This horse is standing proud in a vibrant purple color. This is one of her favorite creations.

This was her attempt on the fox!

We also received an extra game with questions relating to wildlife conservation.

My daughter drew a picture of a dog. We have our own schnauzers as pets, so she’s familiar with how to take care of them. I’m sure she’ll be a great animal shelter volunteer.

My daughter really learned a lot from this box’s theme. She’s a natural when it comes to taking care of animals. She loved working on the origami and she also liked wearing the reminder bracelet. The book was also a nice wake-up call not just for kids, but also for adults. From now on, we will respect and take care of animals more!
