Drink well. Be well.
Everything in my box!
I love the tea postcards that come in this box, they are always so pretty.
There was a paper with info on the teas. It looks like Amoda has added a new tea brand to their collection!
I always receive a bundle of disposable tea bags, or you can use a strainer, tea ball, etc.
I received 4 teas with varying amounts of caffeine, and one caffeine-free herbal delight.
Banff Tea Co. Cascade Shooting Star So this tea just introduced me to guayusa, a rain forest holly bush that has caffeinated leaves. It also has green tea, popped rice, and tropical fruit pieces.
I almost always add sugar to my tea but I didn’t have too with this one. It tastes like genmaicha, a popped rice tea with toasty flavors, plus it has some tropical vibe going on. Overall, I really liked it!
Turmeric Teas Dusk I really should aim to put more antioxidant and anti-inflammatory turmeric in my diet, but for now I appreciate that Amoda had my back and sent this tea.
It also has lemongrass, ginger, and some other spices. Again, I didn’t feel the need to add any sugar and just enjoyed a relaxing cup of this beautiful yellow tea in the evening. Fennel and ginger may help with digestion. The flavor was very lemony and warm, but it didn’t burn my throat like some ginger teas do. I hope Amoda sends some more Turmeric Teas VERY soon, and may I suggest they start by sending Dawn, it sounds dreamy!
Naked Teas Galore Dream Raspberry Cream I am always up for a berry flavored tea and this one did not disappoint.
Ceylon black tea, goji berries, and rose petals plus natural flavoring made for a light bodied tea with a lovely fruity berry flavor. I added sugar and milk so it was actually creamy!
Natur’el Tea Black Mate Morning is a blend of yerba mate and assam black tea plus lemon myrtle and spearmint. Yerba mate is another type of holly (like the guayusa in the very first tea shown) that has caffeine.
I thought this was a tasty lemon and mint combo and not at all like black tea, more like an herbal or white tea. Again, I didn’t feel the need to add sugar and enjoyed this cup in the afternoon for its energy boost.
I thought this was one of my most favorite month’s from Amoda! I enjoyed each tea and was happy with the combination of flavors and tea types. I was excited to try a new type of tea and a new brand and thought each tea was of wonderful quality and freshness.
