The box is filled to the brim!

This month’s theme is SPRING MARKET.

There are cute activities inside the magazine and it’s related to the theme.

Of course, there’s a list of the items we should be expecting for this month’s box.

This part of the magazine features Coca-Cola Peach and DIY Kit Exciting Animal Soft Candy!

Discover Japan page shares a bit of the local culture every month. This month’s subject is about the Hina Matsuri in Japan!

There’s even a feature about new year superstitions in Japan, as well as an instruction on how to activate your box for rewards!

Everything inside the box!

Peach Coca Cola. I love trying new food and drink flavors so I was glad that I get to taste this new fizzy peach refreshment from Coca Cola! The pink packaging is so cute and it seems to highlight the special new formulation. Last year’s version didn’t contain any juice at all, but with this upgrade, it now contains one-percent of white peach juice, thus the added sweet flavor and aroma.

Banana Omelette Cakes. Banana has always been one of my favorites. Not just because they’re healthy, but also because of its mildly sweet taste. That’s why these banana omelette cakes caught my attention. One box contains 5 snack packs. Clearly, these aren’t egg and banana omelettes, as one might think. They’re little cakes folded over with a banana cream inside! They give that super soft, fluffy and creamy texture in every bite. The hint of banana smell added more delight to the mild flavor. I would definitely eat these again!

Buttery Salted Sweet Potato Chips. It’s a pack of wholesome and healthy snack one can blissfully indulge on. These sweet potato chips are cholesterol free, gluten-free, and kosher-certified. The distinctive crunch and briny-buttery flavor in every thinly sliced sweet potato chip make them addictingly good!

Minions Chocolate Wafer. Both the packaging and the sweet-chocolatey taste of this snack give a twisted kind of fun! The thin, crunchy wafer sandwich is fun to eat. I like the chocolate filling, it’s proportional to the size of the wafer so it has an enjoyable balanced sweetness in every munch.

Curry Corn Snack. These puffed rings really do taste like curry! The sweetness of the corn balanced the spice and saltiness of the curry, resulting in a mouthwatering treat.

Pokemon & Sun Moon Cookies. My kids felt like true Pokemon masters while eating this bag of Pokemon Sun & Moon themed double chocolate chip cookies! All 6 cookies are individually packed in small sachets which feature their favorite Pokemon characters. These delicious high-quality chocolate chip cookies are crunchy with soft pieces of milk chocolate inside.

Rice Puff Carrot. The product name Ninjin means carrot in Japanese, which explains the carrot-like translucent packaging. But despite the name and the design, it actually contains pieces of rice puffs with a gentle sweetness. They are not so puffy, but light and crisp in texture.

Pineapple Candy Gummies. These chewy and tender gummies are mouthwatering and addicting. My kids enjoyed sinking and biting their teeth on each pineapple ring as it’s jam-packed with sweet and sour flavor.

Pea Stick Snack. The deep split pea taste is a refreshing experience in every bite and the green color and shape made them look like they’ve just been picked from the vine!

Ramune Candy. Ramune Candy is designed to taste like the classic Japanese lemon-lime soft drink Ramune. The candies are shaped like marbles and they have a bit of fizz to them which is different from the ordinary candy. My kids love it so much!

Veggie Potato Stick Share Pack. These savory potato sticks are packed with 9 different vegetables that give a variety of flavors in one treat! These are so easy to take anywhere and enjoy with friends because they are set in small share packs. We want more of these crispy and flavorful nibbles!

Bear Cub Gummies. It’s a variety of fruity flavors shaped in cute gummy bear candies! These sweet bear cubs are a surprise with all their lovely bright colors and chewy texture. They are fresh and delicious to the taste too.

Teriyaki Burger Umaibo. Umaibo means “delicious stick” and my kids seem to agree with that. It’s a puffed rice stick that offers a sweet-savory taste that makes you feel like you’re eating an actual Japanese fusion fast-food staple, burger patty smothered in teriyaki sauce!

Exciting Animal Soft Candy DIY Kit. The idea of this DIY candy is really awesome. Although the instructions are in Japanese, the illustration gives a clear description of what needs to be done to create our very own soft candy. Or we can just simply rely on the instruction card they thoughtfully included in the package. With four simple steps to follow, we can even do it with our eyes closed! The kit includes animal molds, a pack of short candy sticks and the sachets of candy mix in two exciting flavors, strawberry, and lemon. We’ve tried mixing the two flavors and they turned out perfectly. I was actually worried that the sticks won’t stay put, but it did! The color combination is fun to look at and the candy itself tastes like bubble gum! It’s so cute, so simple and absurdly amusing!

This premium box of 17 Japanese tasty snacks gave us a couple of new things to try out just like the anime snacks and the share and party packs. And I can say that snack hauling has never been so much fun! They’ve included all sorts of interesting and curious-looking things that turned out to be super yummy. We ate every last piece of them, which was a good sign. Some of the ones that we can’t get enough of are the Veggie Potato sticks, Teriyaki Burger Umaibo and Banana Omelette cakes. The peach-flavored Coca Cola was a refreshing way to wash all the snacks down. Indeed, it was another surprising and fun-filled discovery of Japan’s most treasured snacks!
