Target Beauty Box comes out once a month and you have to grab them up because they go quickly! Each box is around $7. Make sure to sign up here to get notified when future boxes go on sale and keep in mind that this is a one-time purchase and not an ongoing subscription.
FYI – this box is still available!
LOVE YOURSELF! This month is all about products to help you feel your best – time for some self-care!
The product information card listed the products included in the box and a little info about each item. There was a coupon for a purchase in-store or online to save $3 when you make a $15+ beauty purchase.
Two items were wrapped in heavy-duty tape to avoid leaks.
Everything in my box! My products came in a cute box and were wrapped in tissue paper. I like that the boxes are decorated and I even use them to store beauty products and stationery. The box was a little bigger than in previous months.
Que Bella Professional Selfie Ready Sheet Mask ($2.49) Have a date night coming up? You can prep skin with a little pampering session before applying your face.
Ingredients were listed on the back (sorry about the glare!). Caffeine and green tea extracts may help reduce puffiness in the face while hyaluronic acid draws water in to keep skin hydrated.
Pantene Airspray Hairspray ($0.58) I am so happy to have this travel size hairspray since I am going to need one for an overnight trip this month! I thought it sprayed evenly and was surprised that it held my hairstyle on a cold, damp day. No crunchiness at all!
Nexxus Color Assure Vibrancy Retention Shampoo ($3.22) and Nexxus Color Assure Vibrancy Retention Conditioner ($4.44) I do not color my hair but I did discover that these products do not contain sulfates, which may strip color. They both have argan and sweet almond oils to help keep hair soft and they smell good.
Dove Shampoo/Conditioner 2-in-1 Clean+Fresh (similar $0.78) My doctor recommended a shampoo with pyrithione zinc for my scalp and that is the active ingredient in this product. I like the fresh scent and it saves me a couple of minutes in the shower on busy mornings when I use a 2-in-1 product. Luckily it didn’t leave my hair flat, which is a big concern for my hair type.
Love Beauty & Planet Citrus Peel Dry Shampoo ($1.87) My college-age daughter lives on dry shampoo. It helps extend the amount of time between washings and probably saves water too. It doesn’t work for my hair type but I did give it a spray and it smells really good.
No7 Laboratories Line Correcting Booster Serum ($8.40 each sample) I guess I was accidentally sent two of these items so if your box was missing one then here it is! Water and glycerin are the first couple of ingredients and my skin absorbed it quickly. It is supposed to be applied twice daily to deeper wrinkles and lines and may give results in as little as 1 week.
Native Coconut & Vanilla Deodorant ($2.99) I like to try different natural deodorants and prefer to use them on days when I’m not going to work. There are two things you should know about this one: it’s not an antiperspirant so it won’t keep you from sweating, and it has baking soda, which some people may be sensitive to.
The ingredients are on the back label. This formula has a probiotic which may help promote the good bacteria in your pits.
I used it right after shaving and didn’t have any irritation. It went on smoothly without pulling my skin and didn’t break off. It smelled like a tropical vacation and although I didn’t do a whole lot of activity on this cold day, I didn’t feel wet and I don’t smell bad!
Target always sends a good variety of products and while they may not always work out for me, I have discovered new brands and favorites thanks to this subscription and the rest goes to my daughters. The value for this box was around $24.77 (I only counted one of the serums), which is great for a $7 box! Plus, there is that $3 off coupon for a store or online purchase, so that brings my personal value up a little more!
