Play! by Sephora is a monthly subscription box that brings only the best and exclusive Sephora beauty and makeup samples. The subscription costs $10 per month, and you’ll get 5 deluxe beauty products, playlists, a fragrance bonus item, plus coupons you can use when you visit in-store.

If I see the black and white stripes, Sephora box is here!

Your subscription also entitles you to PLAY! Date meetups if your store participates. I don’t even have a Sephora (not even a JCP one) but this box totally excites me even without those experiences. I love the high-end brands every month for just $10.

Everything is in the transparent red plastic pouch as usual.

The fold-out poster has a really cute illustration of this month’s theme and a lot of helpful tips on skin care and makeup. Plus, a reminder that you can now use your Play! Pass online! That little card is a PLAY! Pass that will get you 50 extra Beauty Insider points with a purchase from the box, in-store or online. You can also get a complimentary mini makeover!

This month’s featured beauty tips and tricks are perfect for spring.

This month’s theme is Beauty in Bloom! The fold-out poster also shows a list of all the items included in this box.

The design of the packaging is vibrant and see-through at the same time. You can have a subtle peek on the contents without the need to open it.

It’s really cute and playful!

Everything in my box hide] (variation #261)[/hide]! See the spoilers for all the variations here. Your box could vary – it’s built off your profile!

Sephora Collection Lashcraft Big Volume Mascara ($5.72) This mascara takes my lashes to a whole new level! Its saturated black pigments and plumping polymers give it a rich effect that makes my lashes look thicker and bolder.

With just a few wiggles using the curved brush, it can give much length and volume. It’s easy to throw on in the morning and it doesn’t crumble or smudge. I really love it!

Versace Bright Crystal Eau De Toilette ($0.90) This perfume is inspired by a mixture of Donatella Versace’s favorite floral fragrances.

It’s not the most classic scent, but very attractive. The slight citrusy edge keeps it bright, but not too sweet. The flowery smell also reminds me of the beauty of spring!

NARS Bronzing Powder in Laguna ($11.42) It’s a buildable bronzing powder with golden shimmer that creates all-over warmth or contour for the ultimate, healthy sunkissed glow.

It’s different from the other bronzers that I’ve used before. The Laguna shade looks natural on the skin and not too orangey.

I also love that the plastic sheet is customized with their brand name and how the mirror is big enough for convenient use.

It stays on the skin without streaking. Plus, it doesn’t look or feel heavy. Now my look isn’t complete without this powder!

Supergoop! Unseen Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 40 ($6.40) Packed with antioxidants, this sunscreen smoothens and preps the skin with a velvety matte, makeup-gripping finish. It’s also oil-free, and works well whether on its own or under makeup. Also, it is completely transparent and feels like a primer!

Drybar Triple Sec 3-in-1 ($2.72) Drybar’s 3-in-1 formula texturizes, amplifies, and refreshes the hair. It’s the only air dry spray that is able to give my hair volume. I have thin, stringy hair that often lies flat against my face. I use this product whether I am curling my hair, straightening it, or on-the-go. This travel size is great too! Unfortunately there was SO little product in this can compared to the other!

Amika Perk Up Dry Shampoo ($7.50) It’s a dry shampoo formulated without talc or aluminum that refreshes hair by absorbing excess oil and adding volume. This is the secret weapon whether I’m in need of a quick no-wash cleanse or an extra boost of volume.

I guess you can pick your fave!

This box comes with deluxe sample size products. I love this subscription because it is high end and I love trying out new things. This month, I received a dry shampoo, air dry hair spray, sunscreen, bronzing powder, a sample perfume, and a mascara. I enjoyed using everything, especially the dry shampoo that is great when I need to freshen up my hair when I’m in a hurry to go somewhere. I also like that I can use the products multiple times to see if they work for me and how it allows me to try products I don’t normally reach for.
