Every month I try to guess what scent will be featured based on the sticker that’s placed on the outside of the box (see previous picture). I couldn’t wait to see what was inside the box under this dotty paper!
Everything was tucked into shredded paper squiggles.
I found a card that announced the March theme, Backyard Garden.
The back of the card gave a little intro to this month’s theme and items.
Next was an insert on the products.
The insert gave a little info for each item, its MSRP, and listed a website in case you need more.
The items not only smell good, they are also pretty to look at and fun to use. It’s no secret that this is one of my favorite subscription boxes!
Everything in my March 2019 NOSEJOY box!
Mixture Hand-Poured Candles in Fresh Cut Grass ($10.99) I thought this website was pretty unique – you get to choose the color of the votive you like and fill it with the scent you prefer!
This scent is inspired by the fresh notes that are all around me now that spring has sprung. It smells fresh and clean and yes, green! I could smell it while it was burning and it was relaxing and perfect for this month.
A Wild Soap Bar Wild Carrot Soap ($6.50) A scratch made soap sounds very nice and this one was extremely well-made.
Ingredients are listed on the box and this soap can be used on face or body and especially dry skin.
I placed this one next to my kitchen sink! I prefer a bar soap in the kitchen and this one had a light and natural scent that doesn’t linger, perfect for when I’m cooking. Plus it lathers very well and yet rinses clean away. It also left my hands soft.
Simplified Soap Milk & Honey Goat Milk Soap ($4.73) I really enjoyed the scent of this lotion! My skin absorbed it quickly, which is a plus. The scent is sweet and has a cherry almond fragrance.
Rosebud Perfume Co. Strawberry Lip Balm ($8) comes in a vintage-looking tin and reminds me of lip balm I wore in middle school!
The ingredients are listed on the back of the tin.
I rubbed some on my lips and it went on feeling like silk and tastes just like my childhood.
ElizabethW Rosemary Shower Pouch ($12) is a terry cloth pouch, similar to a washcloth, filled with bath salts that you can use in the shower or bath.
Ingredients are listed and it’s mostly sea salt and baking soda, plus rosemary and California poppy.
I guess the idea is that this is a substitute for a soak in a sea salt-filled tub. After washing off in the shower I went over my arms and legs with the pouch. Although it smelled like rosemary when I first opened the box, in the shower it had a floral scent. I guess it can be used more than once – the salts haven’t totally dissolved yet. It did leave my skin a little softer.
NOSEJOY always comes up with the most unique and interesting themes! A trip through the garden was perfect for March, as everything in my area comes back to life. Each item smelled great and my favorite was the carrot soap, it leaves my hands soft each time I use it. The value for the March box is around $42.22!
