Macy’s Beauty Box is a monthly subscription that delivers five deluxe beauty samples, one bonus item, and a collectible cosmetics bag for $15 per month. Beauty Box subscribers also get an exclusive $5 beauty coupon that can be used online and in-store.

They made it extra special for us!

Here’s the holo pouch!

Each month comes with a Macy Beauty Box booklet.

There is a $10 off coupon at the back of the booklet. The coupon is valid in-store or online from 2/2/19 until 4/26/19. Check out these categories sorted from low to high price: Bath & Body, Natural BeautyMakeup, Skincare, and Travel-size.

Unfortunately, Macy’s has totally decimated this benefit by starting to charge shipping on beauty orders. This benefit is basically nothing unless you are looking to buy a $49+ item or you can use it in store.

The information booklet gives you a list of all the items included in the box. This month’s theme is Galactic Muse!

Just looking at the list of brands they collaborated with makes me excited! It also includes tips on using the items.

Everything in the March 2019 Macy’s Beauty Box!

Excited to try them all!

Holo Pouch. This holographic pouch looks stellar! It’s spacious enough for some of my beauty essentials!

Skin Gym Rose Quartz Collagen Eye Masks ($5) I only have eyes for these Skin Gym eye masks. It’s so nice to put these on while relaxing at home with my feet up. They contain collagen, hyaluronic acid, amino acids, and caffeine that help fight fine lines and wrinkles around the eye area so my eyes look more well-rested now. I also adore the cute heart shapes on the sides!

Stila Glitter & Glow Liquid Eye Shadow ($24) Does anyone have the full size of this? From everything I’ve seen, this is the full size, and it’s sort of (very) shockingly small.

This glittery liquid eye shadow is a breeze to apply and has a long-lasting effect. My eyes really sparkled with the perfect blend of pearl and glitter of this liquid eyeshadow! It’s lightweight, glides on effortlessly, and dries down smoothly, locking in maximum sparkle with zero fallout for an elevated eye look!

The magnificent metal Kitten Karma shade is astonishing! The color is Champagne with silver and copper sparkle that give that sunkissed shimmer. I can wear it alone for a hint of shine and a quick makeup look or layer it over a matte eyeshadow for a more dimensional look.

SK-II Facial Treatment Essence ($33.15) This essence is certainly my new holy grail skincare product! It works instantly on my face. I can see and feel the difference even after just a few days of use. The light, non-sticky feeling of this treatment is what sets it apart from other brands. I swear it took dead skin off.

This moisturizing skin food essence contains more than 90% Pitera that keeps the skin’s natural renewal cycle in the optimum condition for skin nourishment. It also reverses the signs of aging and rejuvenates the texture of the skin.

Peter Thomas Roth FIRMx Peeling Gel ($7.06) I’ve tried so many exfoliants over the years and this is by far, the best. I have dry skin so I decided to put this on right before showering. I was amazed with how much dead skin it took off and now my skin is smoother and not itchy. My lotion and face powder works better too!

Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder ($4.68) Translucent powder can make me cakey, but this one doesn’t. It’s the perfect product to keep my makeup on throughout the day.

The translucent shade looks great on my fair skin tone. It’s so smooth and silky. Because the container is really small, I emptied it into a bigger one!

This loose setting powder sticks on my puff easily so I can just pat and roll with ease. It soaks up any ounce of shine on my face. Another thing that I love about this is it really reduces fine lines and minimizes pores.

Mugler ALIEN Eau de Parfum Spray ($2.40) Alien is a radiant fragrance – soft wood under sunlight!

Mugler Men’s ALIEN MAN Eau de Toilette Spray ($1.60) The composition of this fragrance is woody, leathery, and aromatic. It consists of three “vibrations”: “Electric Vibration” includes beech wood and dill tones, while “Sensual Vibration” consists of leather and cashmere and “Magnetic Vibration” includes white amber.

Oh, Mugler!

Just because a fragrance isn’t sugary sweet doesn’t mean it’s masculine. Alien exudes positive energy, charged with sensual and intriguing mystery. The sillage is very good and the lasting power… well, it’s Mugler!

The sillage is very modest (a relief for me, I can’t bear overbearing mens’ fragrances) and it gives a “wet musty” note with a slight sweet base note.

This month’s box is a collection of products from trusted brands like Mugler, Laura Mercier, Peter Thomas Roth, Stila, Skin Gym and SK-II. So, as expected, all of the items were fabulous! But if I have to pick my fave, I’d definitely choose the Translucent Loose Setting Powder. It works pretty well for me because it locks in my makeup for long-lasting wear without adding weight or texture. I was actually surprised with how it creates a flawless, matte finish that I don’t usually get in a normal face powder. Total value, about $78. However, I’m very meh on the size of that Stila (it was hard to get a lot out – totally thought it was a sample), and if SK-II isn’t your thing, that’s $33 in value.  There wasn’t a non-beauty item this month – a little disappointing. As for the bag – I love holo, but this one was a little on the cheap side.
