Gramma in a Box is a monthly subscription for kids (from a real Grandma!) that sends homemade cookies with frosting and sprinkles along with two easy candy crafts to make at least 15-20 edible treats.

<DEAL:  Get $5 off when you signup for a 3 month or longer plan! Use coupon code 5OFF.

The items arrived in a red box with a simple Gramma in a Box text on the side.

The bottom of the box has a Gramma in a Box sticker. The kit shows up bundled neatly together under some cute tissue, which is secured using another sticker.

All the items come in a separate plastic container.

Also included in the box is a little welcoming note. This month’s box is all about St. Patrick’s Day Treats.

Flip the card and you’ll find a list of all the items in the box, as well as items you will need from your home.

This is the box upon opening! You just have to remember — no snacking on the craft supplies!

Every month, 3 projects are included in the box. We are going to do Shamrock Pretzel Pops, Crispy Pot O’Gold Cups, and St. Patrick Day’s Cookies. Each of the cards has step by step instructions with a few images.

At the back of each card, you can see the ingredients for each of the recipes, and they also include the potential allergens.

Here’s everything that we’ll need to make the projects!

Project #1: Shamrock Pretzel Pops. For this project, we will need the pretzels, popsicle sticks, melting chocolate, and some candy sprinkles.

The first step is to melt the green chocolate melts and stir them until they become smooth. Then we put 3 pretzels around the sticks to make them look like shamrocks. We glued the pretzels to the stick with the use of the chocolate melts.

We also used the melts to decorate the shamrocks, along with the colorful candy sprinkles.

We were able to do 6 sticks, each family member will have to try one!

The Shamrock is an important symbolism for St. Patrick’s day, as the three leaves represent faith, hope, and love, and a fourth leaf is what brings luck. ☘

Project #2: Crispy Pot O’Gold Cups. For this next project, we’ll use the crispy rice cereals, gold coin sprinkles, and the gold paper cups.

After using the leftover chocolate melts from the first project, we poured the cereals over it and mixed it thoroughly, until well incorporated.

We prepared 7 gold cups and scooped just the right amount of cereal-chocolate mixture in each of them.

The kids then decorated the cereals with gold coin sprinkles.

Wow! The crispies are well covered with the chocolate, and the addition of the gold coins make it look more delightful! We can’t wait to dig into this as our pot o’golds look fantastic!

Project #3: St. Patrick’s Day Cookies. Last but not least, we are going to make St. Patrick Day cookies, and for this project, we’ll need the following: cookies, 3 colors of frosting, and candy sprinkles.

After laying out all the cookies, we started decorating them with the frosting. We got green, white, and yellow frosting, and I let the kids play with their imagination on how these delightful treats will turn out!

Aside from the candy sprinkles for this project, we also used the leftover sprinkles from the first two projects.

The sugar sprinkles definitely added shimmer to the already adorable cookies!

Here they are decorating the Pot O’Gold cookie with some gold coin sprinkles on top!

Here are the cookies! I love how the kids got creative with them!

This is definitely my favorite among the cookies, just look at how artistically the colors were well-blended on it!

Everything’s sweet and delicious, and the kids love them! After a while, everything’s gone!

St. Patrick’s Day is a global celebration, and we love celebrating! Again, my kids enjoyed doing the projects, and their excitement was doubled when it’s time to munch on their masterpieces! Everything went smoothly, from prepping the ingredients and materials up, decorating them with the help of the given step by step instructions, and of course, the easiest of them all, enjoying the sweet and delightful treats! This is a great box that encourages the kids to unleash the artist inside by decorating something that they can enjoy afterward, and as a parent, I am fond of this wonderful box as well!
