Hello, sunshine!

The presentation is always on point with this box and this paper is embedded with wildflower seeds!

My items were snuggled into paper squiggles and were kept safe on their journey.

I found a set of cards – one with an introduction to the current box, and one for each of the vendors featured in this month’s box. The bundle was secured with more seeded paper.

California Found has The Golden Ticket, which is perfect for a box coming from The Golden State! One box each month will contain a special ticket that will entitle the subscriber to a free box for themselves or for a friend. Also, California Found gives 10% of their profits to charitable organizations and this month proceeds will go to No Kid Hungry: California.

Everything in my February 2019 California Found box!

Soul Spark A Spark of Love Candle ($21.99) These candles are based on positive affirmations such as love, gratitude, confidence, and prosperity. The affirmation on the inside of this candle lid is about love: repeat it each time you burn the candle to set your intention.

The candle has a blend of soy and coconut oils that burn clean. Rose and jasmine essential oils provide the floral scent.

There is a charm at the bottom of the candle that you keep when the candle is spent. It should burn for about 50 hours. I was happy to have another floral scent to balance the rose and this candle was lovely.

Robyn Rhodes Makenzie Earrings in Silver ($43) The next item came in a pretty bag, so if you are not into this item it will be easy to gift, but wait until you see how beautiful it is!

Subscribers received a pair of earrings on silver posts. The Swarovski crystals are either clear or aquamarine, which is what I found in my box.

Aren’t they just stunning? Of course, they also look refined since they are studs.

Here they are on a darker background. My ears are not pierced, so when I gifted them to my daughter she remarked that they are perfect for the dress I just bought her for an upcoming wedding. They are perfect indeed!

Christine May Brand Masked Flora Collection Notecards ($20) Cards show up regularly in this sub and they are some of the prettiest ones I’ve ever received! This set had four cards, each with botanical prints in lovely watercolors. You can even purchase framed prints on the Etsy site!

Each card is printed on matte cardstock and is blank inside with a matching white envelope.

Belle & Beast Organics Antioxidant Face Oil ($22) is made with “dry” oils that are not supposed to leave skin feeling greasy since the skin should absorb it quickly!

A few plant oils such as safflower and jojoba are combined with essential oils including frankincense and myrrh. Apply a few drops after cleansing in the morning and evening. Rub gently on skin and breath deeply of the scent, which smells mostly of the geranium. My skin liked this product!

Gustus Vitae California Strawberry Cane Sugar, Pacific Seafood Seasoning Blend, and Taste of California Seasoning Blend ($30) Next up is a trio of seasonings from Gustus Vitae and while I couldn’t find this trio as a collection, you can buy other collections on the site or find each of these on their own. The containers are magnetized and stick to each other or on your stove’s hood or even the fridge!

Taste of California can be used in marinades, sauces, veggies, and however else you want.

Strawberries, lemon peel, cilantro, and thyme sounds like an interesting combo and I look forward to cooking with it.

Each spice was packed in a plastic bag that can be emptied into the unique container.

Pacific Seafood Seasoning can be used to season seafood, or add some to mayo as a topping or dip for the finished product. Take a look at the lid. See the holes?

You can twist it closed, as shown in this pitcure! You can also read the ingredients for this blend.

California Strawberry Cane Sugar can be used to rim adult beverages or even iced tea or lemonade. By the way, there are all kinds of recipes on the Gustus Vitae website if you need inspiration.

Just sugar and strawberries are in here.

Isn’t it beautiful? It smells good too! I can’t wait to try it on something, anything. I am sure I can be creative.

What an amazing collection of products from the Golden State! I never know exactly what I’m going to find in my California Found box, but it is always wonderful. The assortment is one thing that I really appreciate about this box, as they send items from several lifestyle categories. The products are top notch and I love learning about the vendors from my birth state. The value for the February box was around $136.99!
