Beach House Teas Rose City Dark ($12) Tea Box Express is pretty good about sending enough tea to last for a while.

Rose City Dark is a black tea blended with mint and rose petals. The instructions are kind of broad so I decided to use 1.5 teaspoons of tea to 7 ounces of water. I steeped for 5 minutes.

Isn’t it lovely? The flavor wasn’t as strong on the black tea aspect so no milk was needed, but I did add sugar since that’s how I prefer my tea. It actually had a wonderful flavor, with a minty freshness and yet an antique, cozy feeling thanks to the subtle flavor of rose. I bet it would be good iced during a hot summer day, too.

Beach House Teas Coastal Cleanse Detox Facial Steam ($9) I thought at first that this was an herbal tea but it turns out to be a steam for the face! I haven’t tried the steam since I have rosacea and have been warned away from this type of treatment, but the product smells good and most like the fennel. I think it would also work well as a foot soak or in the tub, but maybe place it in a tea bag or some cheesecloth first to make clean up easier.

Big Picture Farm Farmstead Goat Milk Caramels in Sea Salt and Caramel ($8.25) I wasn’t quite sure how caramels made from goat milk would taste and was worried, since I’m not a fan of chevre (goat cheese). Let me tell you, these are some of the best caramels I’ve ever tried!

There were 7 pieces of heaven in the bag and each one was smooth, soft, melty, and had a hint of saltiness. So, so good!

Unna Bakery Brown Butter Cookie ($1.99) and Unna Bakery Raspberry Cave Cookie ($1.99) Yum, Tea Box Express always provides a snack that goes great with an afternoon tea break! These cookies were so tasty!

The Brown Butter Cookie (on the left) is made with butter and almonds and reminded me of the almond cookie my favorite Chinese restaurant would give me after dinner. The Raspberry Cave Thumbprint Cookie (on the right) is also a shortbread cookie but without nuts and with raspberry jam in the middle. So good!

Nunu Chocolates Solid Heart Chocolate Lollipop ($2) is milk chocolate in the shape of a heart, and on a lollipop stick. I broke mine off into pieces and let it melt in my mouth but I’m not judging if you eat it in one go!

Tea Box Express always sends tasty treats and delicious teas every month. They even sent a beauty product! My favorite was the buttery almond cookie, it reminded me of being a kid!
