First look! The packing is pretty simple, just some wadded up paper and bubble wrap that keeps everything safe.

I like the product info cards that Pearlesque provides, they give a brief snapshot into the featured brand, which for February is Honua Hawaiian Skin Care.

Honua offers a new experience in skincare. Our daily facial ritual not only transforms skin, but allows customers to experience a touch of aloha daily. From formulation to production, we incorporate the spirit of aloha and it shows in our products. We share this special message on the inside of every Honua box so that our customers can also incorporate aloha in to their daily lives. The “Honua Glow” is contagious and is attributed to both the daily care of the skin and soul!

The back of the introductory card listed each product, its retail value, and how to use each item. I like that Pearlesque also includes their own #pearltip for the products.

Everything in my February 2019 Pearlesque Box!

Honua was featured last year and I think it was one of my favorite boxes ever, the brand is just amazing – read on to see why I think it is exceptional.

Honua Hawaiian Skincare Pa’Akai Cleansing Cream ($42) “Cleansing Hawaiian salt and antioxidant rich hibiscus combine to create a gentle daily cleanser that will leave your skin feeling soft”.

The box has info on The Ritual, Honua’s guide to good skin.

Ingredients are listed on the other side.

Another side has info on the benefits of key ingredients in the cleanser.

When I opened the box I found even more info, with a spotlight on the company and how it gives back.

Look at that beautiful bottle nestled in the box!

Finally, the inside of the box talked about the spirit of aloha.

Check out how lovely this pink cleansing cream is in the bottle, and it got its color naturally, no dyes are listed.

Just place a pump or two in your palm and lomi (massage) it all over your face. Wet your fingertips and work it in, then rinse with warm water. The cleanser smelled lightly of roses and had a creamy, non-foaming consistency. I used it as step one in a 2-step cleansing ritual. It was non-drying and I didn’t experience any irritation.

Honua Hawaiian Skincare Olena Oil ($48) “Enjoy our traditionally crafted oil infused by the healing sun with a unique blend of super plants”.

I’m going to skip the parts of the box that are the same as the first item. This side has the ingredients of the oil listed, and they are all plant-based, and mostly oils.

Info on the superpowers included in this oil were enlightening. My eyes focused on the part that says this is good for rosacea, since I have that and am careful of the products I use on my face.

I am so pleased with the packaging of this brand!

Apply a couple drops to hands and then rub them together briefly to warm the oil, then massage it gently on the face, or even other parts of the body as needed.

The smell is warm and gently spicy, I’m sure it’s from the turmeric.

I like the scent, it isn’t overwhelming to my nose.

I was super excited when I discovered that Honua was the featured brand for February, and this Pearlesque box was one of my favorites! The ingredients are clean and all-natural and I felt like the items sent were perfect for my sensitive skin. I enjoyed using the cleanser to remove my face makeup, it was super gentle, and the beauty oil helped my skin look better than it has in a while.

The value for the February box was around $90! I always feel like Pearlesque is a great value for natural skincare, which can be very pricey. Plus, my skin reacted well (or maybe I should say, had no negative reaction!) to the products and they were very luxurious.

FYI: The featured brand for March is Franklin & Whitman, which is new to me!
