Macy’s Beauty Box is a monthly subscription that delivers five deluxe beauty samples, one bonus item, and a collectible cosmetics bag for $15 per month. Beauty Box subscribers also get an exclusive $5 beauty coupon that can be used online and in-store.

They made it extra special for us!

Sealed with a kiss!

The pouch is shiny red in front and barbie pink at the back.

It has a barbie pink zipper closure and lining. As you open it you can see easily that it’s an exclusive item from Macy’s.

The theme this month is Red Carpet Glam!

Each month comes with a Macy Beauty Box booklet.

There is a $5 off coupon at the back of the booklet. The coupon is valid in-store or online from 1/25/19 until 3/29/19. Check out these categories sorted from low to high price: Bath & Body, Natural BeautyMakeup, Skincare, and Travel-size.

Unfortunately Macy’s has totally decimated this benefit by starting to charge shipping on beauty orders. This benefit is basically nothing unless you are looking to buy a $49+ item or you can use it in store.

The information booklet gives you a list of all the items included in the box.

Just looking at the list of brands they collaborated with makes me excited! It also includes tips on using the items.

Everything in the February 2019 Macy’s Beauty Box!

Fashion Forms Disposable Breast Petals ($2.33) This is a pair of disposable nylon tricot breast petals with center padding. This can be a perfect time to use for a glam up session or Valentine’s if your skimpy dress requires it.

It can be suitable for sheer bras, strapless tops, bathing suits, T-shirts and sweaters with or without your bra for some added coverage. It’s single-use so make sure to apply it on dry skin before moisturizers, powders, deodorants or perfume so the adhesive will not be compromised.

Beauty Blender Micro Mini ($9) Beauty Blender pioneered the sponge game. This sponge is one quarter the size of the original blender and focuses on a precise application on the small areas (side of the nose, under-eye, acne spots) and corners (inner eye) of the face that are harder to reach. It also blends, conceals, contours, highlights, and color-corrects makeup to perfection. It is easy to use that even a novice in makeup can use it effectively. It is made with latex-free poly foam without parabens, phthalates, and sulfates.

The original beauty Bender sponges are soft and it’s same with this mini. To use, just wet the sponge, squeeze out excess liquid, and bounce powder or liquid makeup for a flawless finish. Use the contoured tip for precision and use the rounded end for a large surface application. It works great for getting in small corners, like with powder or concealer.

Yves Saint Laurent Black Opium Eau De Parfum Spray ($1.33) This is a super hyped classic YSL perfume scent. It has a warm scent with notes of black coffee, white flowers, and vanilla.

Surprises do come in small packages! We can put it in our purse or bag and spritz some to have that seductive fragrance over and over again.

Clinique High Impact Mascara ($9.50) It’s a mascara that instantly lengthens and volumizes the lashes with just one coat. The thick bristles really get all the lashes coated and the formula doesn’t clump up. It’s in rich black and makes the eyes defined and definitely bolder.

Start from the bottom and wiggle up to top tips of the lashes. Repeat the process for a more dramatic look and let it dry in between coats to avoid clumping. I love this mascara so I was happy to get it!

Anastasia Beverly Hills Liquid Lipstick In American Doll ($20 Full-Size) You can never go wrong with this because it’s an effortless liquid lipstick. You can customize and mix this with another lip shade. To use, begin by applying at the center of the bottom lips working your way through the corners and lip line and repeat the process with the upper lip. You can even use another brush for an application if you want. The formula is free of parabens, phthalates, and sulfates.

This is well-pigmented and perfect for the love month! It glides on smoothly to the lips because of its soft round wand. It has a matte, non-drying finish that is long-wearing and smudge-proof. And it’s full-sized!

This is such a rich and vibrant red with blue undertones. I can’t get enough of it!

Origins Original Skin Retexturizing Mask ($10.40) Mediterranean rose clay, Canadian willowherb, and exfoliating jojoba beads were combined in this mask to help deep clean while refining your skin’s texture. It’s ideal for those who have oily skin, dull skin, and enlarged pores. To use, just apply and leave it on your skin for 10 minutes then massage in circular motions. It should be rinsed and followed by your serum and moisturizer for best results. It’s not irritating on the skin and it left my skin feeling soft and smooth!

Dermablend Loose Setting Powder ($7.33) It’s a lightweight powder that flawlessly sets makeup without smudge or transfer.

It is used to bake the face, set and finish makeup. I like that it mattifies my complexion into perfection. The powder is also free of sulfates, triclosan, and has a vegan formula.

It’s a curation well-suited for the love month!

I love this month’s box because there is a lot of makeup from the leading brands that I get to try. The breast petals can be a little random but it fits the red carpet glam theme. We can use the pouch as a makeup kit or a casual clutch. The liquid lipstick is a really vibrant red that can easily make anyone stand out. I love that it’s smudge proof and long-wearing. The mascara works effectively, and I used the mini beauty blender together with the setting powder for my under eyes. To pamper our skin from all the dates and parties this month, we can proceed with the mask they gave us that removes dead skin and moisturizes at the same time. The perfume is suitable for the theme as well because of the seductive feminine scent. I love all the contents of this box! This does make me feel like I’m going to have a red carpet moment!

With about $60 in value, I was impressed! Keep it up Macy’s! I definitely felt like this was a step in the right direction after losing the ability to really get anything with that coupon code.

This month was incredible. I wanted it so bad. But by the time the full spoilers came out, they were selling the March bag. Disappointed I wasn’t able to snag one.
