Ipsy is a monthly beauty subscription. You get five makeup, beauty, skincare, and hair care items in a cute bag for $10 a month! It’s the most popular subscription box and a great way to sample new colors and beauty brands.

Everything arrived in a hot pink bubble mailer.

This month’s theme is Swoon So Hard.

The information card listed all the items in the package, along with a description and a beauty tip.

Ipsy February 2019 Glam Bag. First off, this is what the bag looks like for this month. I think that it’s really cute and I love that they themed it for Valentine’s Day.

It’s a really nice faux leather on the front hand side, with smacky lips for design and a sweet, pink zipper.

Lab For You Multi-Ex Repair Cream ($4.94) Some K-Beauty in my box this month!

This Korean-made Multi-ex repair cream helps restore the damage to the skin and helps calm with witch hazel leaf extract. You can use it after cleansing your face and before everything else. It’s lightweight and it doesn’t leave a sticky residue. It really calmed things down from my cold-induced redness!

Sand & Sky Australian Pink Clay Flash Perfection Exfoliating Treatment ($4.30) They packed all the wonders in one single pink tube, including macadamia and bamboo to remove dead skin cells and fruit acids to clear oil debris in your pores.

Right after spreading and rubbing the clay on my skin, I instantly smelled its organic and fresh scent. It’s not perfumed at all, but that’s just how I like it. For those with sensitive skin, follow the instructions printed at the back – not to massage it in but just leave on your face. Funny enough, no instructions for others! You just rub it in for 30 seconds and let it set for 5 minutes. It’s best for people who really love the feeling of seriously scrubbing.

Hey Honey Trick & Treat CC² Active Moisturizing Cream in Light to Medium ($12.66) It’s an active moisturizing cream with honey and propolis for both hydration and an anti-bacterial effect!

I have a medium neutral complexion so this worked pretty well for me. I applaud it for its nice coverage on my skin. By the way, CC generally stands for color correcting.

Belle En Argent Auteur Crème Lip Color in I’ll Bring Dessert ($29.71) Did someone ask for dessert? Too bad, this one’s not edible. It’s a plummy mauve lipstick, but I still like it because it brings out the sassy and daring in me.

With all the pigment and none of the parabens, alcohols, and sulfate, it’s a total gem. It glides smoothly on my lips and has great coverage too.

Thebalm Cosmetics Alternative Rock Vol. 1 Eyeshadow in Take it for Granite. This has to be the largest shadow sample I’ve ever received from The Balm! Based on the full palette, it’s worth about $13.75.

The back of the box lists some necessary info about the product and the container has an integrated magnet so it snaps shut!

Take It For Granite is a shimmery eyeshadow. It glides well on my skin and it stays for quite a long time.

When it comes to eye makeup, I like being creative and playing with colors. And I was stunned with this shade which I can mix and match with anything!

Here are the swatches! They’re all so beautiful! The lipstick is buildable so I did 3-4 swipes above my single swipe swatch to show you how versatile it is.

Ipsy got me covered for February with a nice mix of skincare and makeup!

This month’s package has everything I need for my everyday look. The eyeshadow is a big win, and the rest of the items are all usable, especially the pretty lipstick! A whopping $65 in value this month – I was really surprised that I had 3 sort of big value items, but I’m super happy with that!
