Vegan Cuts Beauty Box is a monthly beauty subscription service that sends 5 or more items ranging from unique cosmetics to luxurious skincare. Best of all, they are 100% cruelty-free and vegan, plus most items are natural and non-toxic! Monthly recurring shipments are $22.95 with free shipping in the USA (there is an additional charge for other countries). This sub is also available in 6 or 12-month terms that do not renew but that do earn you a discount.

Vegan Cuts doesn’t offer customization and sends items that are suitable for almost everyone. They promise not to send foundation or other items that match a specific skin tone and instead send makeup items that are as inclusive as possible with possible variations in shades. They also promise a value of at least $30 but have sent boxes that are significantly above that mark. Vegan Cuts sends deluxe “travel” sized or full-sized products and rarely sends single-use packets.

There was a product information card that included a coupon code for a shop purchase and info on how you can win a free box by sharing your box on social media.

The flip side of the card listed each item and the retail value. The December 2018 box theme is Co-Curated With Compassion!

Everything in my box! My products were kept safe in shredded paper squiggles. I always place the squiggles in my compost pile but you can recycle them how you see fit. There were 7 items this month.

Ogee Jojoba Restore Face Oil ($42.67) can be used by all skin types and is perfect for the colder winter weather, when I want something more for my skin.

Jojoba oil is the first ingredient and I like that it isn’t overly greasy. Plant oils round out the ingredients and I was happy to see it was free of citrus oils, which can cause sensitivity to the sun.

William Roam Sense American Pacific Bath Salts ($2.43) A long soak in a really warm bath helps warm the body in winter, and bath salts add some minerals and a light scent.

Just empty the container in the tub and swish around to enjoy the warm, earthy scent that includes notes of gardenia, vanilla, cardamom, and frangipani.

Flora & Fauna Cuticle Hero Oil ($10.70) My cuticles are always in need of TLC and I love the twist and apply convenience of this pen-like applicator.

It’s all oils in here, including avocado and vitamin E. I just brushed the lightly scented oil over my cuticles and then rubbed it in. I plan on using it all month to see if I can get rid of those raggedy pieces. Smells good too!

Booda Organics Naked Unscented Lipbalm ($3.95) I have mango, mint, earl grey, and a bazillion other flavored lip balms but this is the only one that I have that is unflavored!

Coconut oil, sweet almond oil, jojoba oil, olive oil, and candelilla wax are the ingredients and I have to tell you, this stuff feels wonderful on my lips. I was afraid I would miss having a flavor but this works well and you can even use it on other dry spots like elbows or cuticles in a pinch.

Hype Nail Enamel ($7.99) is a plant-based nail enamel that is 5-free and made in the USA.

The color seems a bit more suited to spring time but I think my daughter will like it for any time of the year. Although this says it is free of 5 toxins the website lists an additional 2 toxins so I guess it’s actually 7-free!

Buck Naked Soap Company in Cranberry + Mint Soap ($2) came wrapped in a little bag to keep it from making a mess all over the box.

It’s pretty but also pretty small. I think I would get frustrated trying to use this in the shower so it will now sit on a dish next to my sink for the next week.

The ingredients look good and the little black dots are actually cranberry seeds that are supposed to provide some exfoliation.

NCLA Travel Size Rescue Kit ($16) is all ready for the holiday season with its cheery golden glitter cover!

Five nail implements are tucked inside – clippers, nail file, V-shaped push stick, rounded push stick, and beauty scissors. Keep in your purse or backpack for nail emergencies (they do happen!).

I loved the December Vegan Cuts Beauty Box! I found a lot of items that I really enjoyed using and most of them were new-to-me brands! I’m hoping that my nails will look good a month from now and the face oil is really good for my skin. The value for this month was $85.74, which is incredible!

I love flora and fauna pen oil for cuticles. It is so hydrate and moisturizer and keeps my cuticles in shape.

Jaclyn, I have to agree! It is so easy to use, just swipe, rub it in a bit, then go to bed. My nails have been loving this special treatment just before bed!
