The theme for January 2019 is TWISTED FAIRYTALES.

The booklet lists all the contents of the box with images and some information to know more about them.

If you selected the book with your box you would have received:

YA Book Box – White Stag: A Novel by Kara Barbieri

Adult Book Box – Half of What You Hear by Kristyn Kusek Lewis

They also let us take a peek on what’s in store for us next month, and the featured vendor for this month, Say Anything Studio.

They also suggest a song for unboxing, which can be found on Spotify.

They also include Horoscopes!

Everything in my box!

Belle Sticker ($4) Starting this month, every month, subscribers get a sticker that matches the theme and cover art of the booklet. Here we got Belle, designed by Diana Dworak.

Special Edition Horoscope Bookmark ($7) The bookmark horoscope design is based on Lira from To Kill A Kingdom by Alexandra Christo.

This beautiful Aquarius art is by Gabriella Bujdoso and by collecting all these 12 zodiac bookmarks, you can reveal a special, thirteenth piece of art!

Beauty And The Beast Inspired Book Sleeve ($25) It’s a Beauty and the Beast-inspired book sleeve by @kdpletters. This is such a nice way to protect and secure a book!

The beautiful sleeve has the enchanted rose image at the back.

I think it will fit one book, or make it two for relatively thin books. It also has a beautiful purple lining inside.

Bookish Box Monthly Enamel Pin ($10) @dustandpages designed this glow-in-the-dark enamel pin that features a twisted fairytale castle inspired by the Lunar Chronicles!

It has the words “oh my stars” on a ribbon at the bottom of the pin, while the full moon sits at the castle’s back. This will look good on a denim jacket or tote.

Sleeping Beauty Shower Steamer by Lizush Soap ($4) It’s a shower steamer that promises to make you feel relaxed and to give you a good sleep.

Just place the steamer on the shower floor and that’s it.

I love the soothing lavender fragrance!

Lunar Chronicles Inspired Adjustable Ring ($10) The Lunar Chronicles is a series of fairy tales that was given a new take by author Marissa Meyer. It includes Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Snow White, and Rapunzel.

The beautiful ring came in an equally beautiful blue organza pouch.

It has open ends so it can easily fit any finger size.

The beautiful ring is so shiny, just the perfect accessory to live your fairytale dream.

The accessory is from the Bookish shop, so you’re sure what they have in mind in creating and sending this beautiful piece to fairytale lovers.

This month’s The Bookish Box featured fairytale classics that anyone can easily recognize or even relate to. Among the items, I love the ring! It looks perfect and I don’t have worries if it’ll fit me perfectly or not as it is adjustable. The lavender shower steamer is fantastic too. It smells divine. All the artwork included in this box are all works of beauty. I love the book sleeve. It’s not just beautiful and stylish, but it will keep my book from dust and dirt as well. This box is perfect for bookworms who love to get their hands on exclusive bookish stuff!
