Scentwist is a monthly fragrance subscription box for men and women. Simply place your fragrance selections in your queue and your order will ship by the 10th of the month. Every box comes with a 30-day supply of fragrance and in your first box you will receive a case to house your fragrance. When you sign up you will select the color of your case from one of nine colors and you will receive a new case every 4 months.

I started by taking a quick scent quiz and received some suggestions on what I should order, but then I perused the scents on offer and decided to fill up my queue with popular scents like Mon Paris and Black Opium.
I received my monthly scent in a simple black box placed in a mailer box.

My first box came with a sprayer, and you simply place your scent vial in the sprayer, twist, and go!
Paris by Balenciaga Eau De Parfum ($87 for 1 ounce) Scentwist has over 1000 scents to choose from, including retro scents and even some pretty fancy choices. I went with a blind buy, which just means I have never smelled it before! This scent is a warm floral with notes of violet, violet leaf, and carnation. It also mentions patchouli, which I did not pick up, and cedar, which lends it a warm note. It isn’t supposed to smell powdery, but instead is more of an edgy floral, not really romantic.
The name of the scent was on a label at the top. Mine looks like its been around the block a few times!
I was happy with my choice from Scentwist this month! I went with something new and ended up liking it, and believe me it’s hard to choose with so many great scents on the Scentwist website! The only trouble I have encountered is trying to adjust the scents in my queue. My choice for this month was floral, warm, and perfect for winter, when a light airy floral doesn’t seem right. As for the value, this is a pricey offering and my value was about $23.49!
