Everything in my box!
Andalou Naturals 1000 Roses Body Lotion ($1.80) is a soothing rose-scented lotion for sensitive skin. It has an aloe base and sunflower seed oil, cocoa seed butter, and shea butter to help soothe skin. Plant stem cells and extracts provide antioxidants and the scent is provided by rose water and rose geranium & orange peel essential oils. It left my skin soft and seems like a good skin softener for winter. I’m not a fan of the scent (I’m not into rose scented anything) but the lotion itself worked really well.
Goldfaden MD Brightening Elixir ($17.26) is a watery serum with hyaluronic acid to help skin keep moist and vitamins B, C, and E that provide antioxidants and help fine lines fade while brightening skin. There’s not much of a scent to it.
HAN Skincare Cosmetics All Natural Concealer ($18) I received the shade “Fair Light” of this toxin-free concealer. You can also mix it with moisturizer to use as a foundation!
It comes with a soft flocked wand so you can dot it on areas that need help, or just to brighten the under eye area. Castor oil, shea butter, and green tea add skin soothing and antioxidant properties to this creamy product.
A little goes a long way, as you can see from my swatch. I placed some under my eyes and on red spots and thought I looked pretty scary. I used my foundation brush to work it in and saw some improvement but was still worried I might need to clean it off and start all over again. Then I went over it all with foundation and was amazed, it ended up blending in really well and overall I looked brighter and like I had a good night’s sleep! I am really happy with this and while I might not use it every day, it will get used a few times a week!
True Moringa Rejuvenating Body Polish ($8.50) I love body scrubs, and I love True Moringa products, so I was very happy to see this sample in the box!
It’s really just ground up coffee, sugar, Moringa oil, and essential oils. I thought it did a really good job of exfoilating my skin and the aroma was very invigorating. You might want to take a plastic container in the shower to rinse it off the walls, scrubs in general are messy but the resulting soft skin is always worth it.
Petit Vour is one of my favorite beauty boxes, because not only is it vegan and cruelty-free, the products are non-toxic and always work so well. Petit Vour tends to send luxurious brands and the occasional full-sized product (like the concealer) and I look forward to getting it in my mailbox every month. The value for December’s box was around $45.56!
What did you think of the December Petit Vour? I’d love to hear your thoughts on this box in the comments!
