Loot Crate DX is a deluxe monthly subscription box from Loot Crate. It’s themed with the regular Loot Crate theme, except it contains premium next level loot for discerning geeks! It’s like a special edition box from Loot Crate – every month!

It’s neatly packed and the box also has that premium feel.

The box comes with a tri-fold booklet.

The theme this month is CURSED DX!

The booklet gives you a list of all the items in the box.

Everything in my box!

Dark Souls Pin. This month’s pin features one of the boss enemies in the Dark Souls Series, High Lord Wolnir.

High Lord Wolnir is a colossal skeleton wearing a crown. The only remains of his body is his torso, which isn’t shown on this pin, only his skull.

Evil Dead 2 Keychain. This keychain is really cool. It doesn’t just keep keys organized, but also protects them with an included keycap!

It has a boomstick, and a chainsaw as the key cap.

There’s a slot to show off the shaft of the key.

It looks like the cutting bar of the chainsaw!

IT Raglan. The crate included a wearable this month, and it features the favorite form of the creature from Stephen King’s popular novel turned movie, IT.

It features Pennywise the Dancing Clown, the creature’s favorite form. It can actually turn into anything or anyone but it chose the clown. This version is from the 2017 movie adaptation, which looks way scarier than the 90s version, and he’s still holding the iconic red balloon.

Red looks good with white. However, in this shirt, it stained a bit.

There’s stitching that seems out of place.

There are also small stains on other parts of the shirt, but overall, the shirt is comfy and great for layering. I refrained from wearing this around my cousin during the holidays – Pennywise is her nemesis!

Mummy Scarf. This scarf pays homage to the action-adventure film, The Mummy!

Upon looking closely, there are some added details that make the scarf look way cooler, like the Mummy’s eye peeking!

This will be perfect to pair with the IT raglan! What a way to combat the cold weather!

Edward Scissorhands Figure. I am glad to finally get another figure from this crate, and for this month, it features the gentle Edward Scissorhands!

The box tells us more about the beloved character. Edward is a gentle, artificial man with scissor hands that he uses to turn hedges into topiaries and later on, also learns how to sculpt ice to create snowfall.

The figure consists of 3 parts: the base, the whole figure, and one of his creations!

I love how detailed the figure is, as it also shows how talented he is in making topiaries. Here, he made a cute dinosaur!

When on his back, Edward looks a little scary with all that blades, which looked real!

Love how rock he looks with all that details on his top! However, I felt bad looking at his scarred face…

Those blades really look dangerous! These details made the figure look more realistic, and I love how well-made the figure is.

This box’s theme is cursed, but not the goods in it (except for the shirt – replacement on the way!). Everything reminds me of Halloween, and the festive celebrations after, and even the cold season. I love the figure as it made me remember one of the great movies from way back. Also, the IT raglan and The Mummy scarf is a perfect combo for the chilly days! The keychain from Evil Dead is great, and the keycap looks really cool too! Overall, this is a great box for the season, and the contents are all cool, they just have to send it on time and everything will be perfect!

FYI – we inadvertently published the November review before this one – but this was indeed received earlier!
