From Japan Crate comes Kira Kira Crate, a box dedicated to Japanese beauty! Kira Kira means “to sparkle” and with this box full of makeup, skincare, and other tools from Japan, you will sparkle as well!

DEAL: Save $3 on your first box! Use coupon code HELLO.

There’s a booklet on top of all the items in the box.

The booklet has a brief welcome letter, a list of the products included, and additional pages give English instructions for each product.

Microfiber Hair Turban — I have SO many of these but they are honestly game-changing. I didn’t unwrap this one because I’m giving it to another long-haired friend, but this is what it looks similar to unwrapped:

Pure Smile Brown Sugar Sheet Mask — Kira Kira always sends a sheet mask, and I like the Pure Smile line. The Brown Sugar mask is from their Minerals series, and in addition to collagen and hyaluronic acid this one has brown sugar in it, which both softens and hydrates.

Cleansing Oil — Anyone who follows a Korean or Japanese skincare routine is familiar with cleansing oil! It is a facial oil that you massage into dry skin, and then you add water to emulsify it. This washes away even the most stubborn makeup. It’s great and I use cleansing oil daily so this is great.

Eyeshadow Quad — Kira Kira included a cute eyeshadow quad with some shimmery neutral shades. This would make a great smokey eye! I swatched it below, so keep reading for a photo!

Kissholic Lip Gloss — How romantic is this rose pink colour? I just love it! It is sheer and glossy, and not too sticky. Swatched below!

The size is really generous!

The eyeshadows are soft and even, but aren’t super pigmented. The lighter colours apply more smoothly.

This felt like such a romantic Valentines Theme! I loved the makeup items and the cleansing oil is also a great addition to my Japanese skincare routine!
