Ipsy Glambag Plus is the upgraded version of the monthly Ipsy Glam Bag. For $25 a month, it contains 5 full-size products from brands you love, plus a deluxe makeup bag with every third shipment. The promised value of each box is $120 worth of products. It will contain variations, but there are far fewer compared to the regular Ipsy Glam Bag. Be sure to continue to rate and review your bag to help personalize it to your needs. Check out our Ipsy Glam Bag explainer to find out every detail of this subscription!

FYI, after this month, this subscription will no longer include the quarterly makeup bag!

The inside of the lid has some advice to share:

Don’t be pretty like them, be pretty like you.

There’s a blue foam topper to secure all that valuable makeup and skin care loot!

There’s a foldout card that comes with the upgraded box, unlike the regular glam bag which only has a card without individual item details. Our regular bag included an entire item foldout card this month!

Each page features a specific product and its description.

It also includes short notes from Ipsy creators.

The pictures are all high-quality.

The info cards are very useful to get an overview plus its retail price for your reference if you want to know the whole worth of the box.

Aside from product descriptions, the mini-mag also provides a to-do list with the upgraded glam bag.

Everything in my Ipsy Glam Plus bag!

Violet Voss Fun Sized Eyeshadow Palette – HG – SIMILAR ($18) It’s a 10-pan, fun-size palette. All the warmed tone shades of brown, red and orange are rich in pigment. It consists of mattes, creamy foils, metallics, and satin sheens.

It has a very simple unit carton that features the shades and their social handles.

The unit carton and the palette design are similar. Simple but pretty in pink!

Even though it is fun-size, it’s a huge convenience that it has a mirror. You can just keep in your handbag or purse without problems as it’s travel-friendly.

The colors are also versatile – you can create so many looks. Truly perfect for on-the-go. The formula doesn’t contain parabens, sulfates, and phthalates. It is infused with jojoba oil too so it’s non-drying.

Judging by the swatches, they really are pigmented. They are easier to blend too because of the creamy texture.

OFRA Cosmetics Highlighter in Rodeo Drive ($18) This highlighter is different from others in terms of having liquid-to-baked technology. You can put it on the tip of the nose, cupid’s bow, high points of cheekbones or even as an eyeshadow. It has a plush, pearl formula that captures the light and illuminates all your fave features.

It has a simple white package and a mirror that’s always available for our touch up needs.

It suits my skin tone well! The highlight is definitely buildable if you want to go from a subtle sheen to a blinding babe. Kidding aside, I like the shade very much. The main purpose of the product is to give us a natural-looking radiance. So I’m glad it does what it promised of a sun-kissed beach look.

Vasanti Cosmetics Matte Crush Lipstick Pencil in It’s Your Mauve ($23) I don’t usually like pencils because I need to find and bring a sharpener too. It’s a good thing they also provided one.

The color of the cap and the color of the lipstick shade are the same. It has a long-lasting formula that can be smudge-proof and waterproof.

It fills out the lips making it look plumper and it glides on smoothly. The formula is matte but non-drying.

The lipstick shade is It’s Your Mauve. It’s made in Germany.

Look at how pigmented and creamy it is! The swatch really gave a full-on rich rose mauve color.

Because of the long lasting formula and with decreased touch-ups because it is smudge-proof and waterproof, I think we will use this sharpener less than expected.

Briogeo Rosarco Milk Conditioning Spray ($20) It’s a lightweight cruelty-free leave-in conditioning spray that adds softness, moisture and brings shine to the hair. It tames frizz and protects the hair from heat, UV rays, and pollution. It is infused with a unique combination of 96% naturally derived complex and rosehip, argan, and coconut oils. This is safe to use for people with chemically-treated hair. To use, spray on the damp hair from midlength to the tips.

Hey Honey Good Morning Honey Silk Facial Serum ($40.01) The luxurious texture of this moisturizing serum is enough to give us a good start every day. Its cruelty-free, multitasking formula gives us a moisturizer and primer in one. We can use it under a moisturizing cream or just before applying makeup.

Packed with nutrients such as amino acids, the primer protects and revitalizes skin. It will not clump up or crease under makeup because it’s easily absorbed by the skin and it has a lightweight texture. It’s good for 9 months after opening and free of SLS and parabens.

Hanalei Sugar Lip Scrub ($14.25) Made using natural Hawaiian ingredients, this scrub helps exfoliate the lips easily. It contains real Maui sugar crystals and pure kukui nut oil. After scrubbing it on your lips, it can be removed by just wiping it away with a tissue. It can be repeated as needed.

It contains vital fatty acids and vitamins that naturally exfoliate and soothe the lips. Free of phthalates and parabens but rich in shea butter, it helps in locking up moisture and restores the suppleness after the dry skin has been removed.

I love the cute and travel-friendly small tub.

I’m happy with the items I got in this box. For an additional $15 from the regular box, this is not bad. I got to try high-quality products. I’m wasn’t impressed at first by the packaging of the eyeshadow palette, but it turned out to be a good one with versatile colors making way for bold choices. We have eyeshadows, natural-looking sun-kissed highlighter and lip pencil with sharpener. We also have reparative hair conditioning spray, lip scrub and face serum, which covers most of the essentials already. I got almost $130 worth of items! I will miss the glam bag but I’m happy to see more of a focus on product.
