Didis Toy Box is a monthly subscription dedicated to assisting parents in nurturing their child’s early development by sending out hand-picked toys tailored to the child’s age and developmental stage. The box contains 2-4 full-size toys each month. These are toys that educate through exploration, imagination, and discovery! Their goal is to make the world a little bit better each day and to spread the value of play by enriching your child’s and your lives together, by enhancing the way your child plays.

The items were wrapped in orange tissue paper. On top of it are various info cards.

This card is cute!

At the back, there’s a short note for the subscriber.

This babysitter notepad is a really helpful addition to the box. It serves as a guide for your kid’s babysitter on their do’s and don’ts and other necessary information about your child.

Everything in my box!

Moulin Roty Les Popoum Puzzle ($18.50) It’s a cute lift-off puzzle featuring hippos!

The puzzle is beautifully illustrated at the back of the box.

The hippo is in blue and it looks like it’s watercolored.

It’s like revealing new treasures every time you remove a puzzle piece. My baby is mesmerized with the whole hippo family and my 4 year old finds this puzzle hilarious.

My First Colors by DK ($5.44)

Teach your preschool child numbers and encourage learning while reading and having fun together with your My First: Colors board book, designed to be a toddler favorite and withstand wear and tear from a preschooler. My First: Colors uses pictures of objects to illustrate a comprehensive rainbow of colors. Clear word labels are included with the pictures to encourage further learning. In addition to colors (including red, green, blue, orange, yellow, brown, purple, pink, black, white, gold and silver), My First: Colors includes sections on rainbows, mixing colors, and matching up colors.

Develop your child’s early learning with My First books, specially designed to captivate a preschooler’s attention while laying a foundation for learning. My First books feature bold, bright photographs on white backgrounds — ideal for catching a young child’s eye and acting as an introduction to early-learning topics. The collectible My First board books make a great early-learning library and include a wide variety of topics including trucks, animals, colors, letters, numbers, and first words.

My First board books feature a simple point-and-say layout that builds confidence in children through repeatability and encourages preschool vocabulary and language skills. The board book format is durable and easy for young children to hold and carry on their own, and they’re designed to hold up to the rough handling that comes with being a toddler’s favorite book to “read” alone or with a parent.

The book features the first colors for a preschooler.

There’s a spread for each color. They made the images bigger and easy to recognize. It helps your baby become familiar with the objects that they see around them.

We have a chameleon for the color green, although it can change colors too depending on its environment. We have other DK early word books from our first child (now 10 years old!) they hold up beautifully and the kids return to them again and again until they are solidly reading. I was delighted with this.

Trudi Turtle Plush ($17?) There’s also a turtle toy inside the box and it’s an instant hit! It’s a machine washable plushie that helps your baby develop their motor skills.

The turtle has a yellow underside. It’s pretty tiny but definitely lovable! Our baby loves anything plushie so this was a win.

Cute and fluffy, it’s also perfect for cuddle time.

HABA Stack & Learn Blocks ($12.99) Stackable blocks like this can provide your baby with training on how to build different designs on their own. Plus, the colors that they come in are sure to keep them happily entertained for hours.

Each block contains an additional item or design inside which helps activate your baby’s imagination. There are six blocks in the box which you can also incorporate with other building blocks that you have.

Janod Empilable Canards Ducks Stacker ($25.99) To complete this month’s box, we got a set of stackable ducks!

The back of the box features photos of the ducks when they’re stacked.

There are several ways in which you can use this toy set. You can use it for teaching your child how to count, identify the different colors, and even learn how to stack the rings themselves as well. It’s fun, entertaining, and educational all rolled into one.

Here’s how they look like when you break them down.

Didis Toy Box is a nice subscription, especially for parents who have younger children and are in a constant need for new toys to keep them entertained. In this month’s box, we received several toys that are geared towards honing my kid’s mental, physical, and emotional state. The puzzle that we got is a great practice of familiarization with the animal, while My First: Color is a great introduction to the basic colors. Trudi is my child’s new pet, but my favorite is the stackable ducks. I like how versatile this toy is because it can teach your child while having fun too. We’re excited to discover more educational toys from this subscription!
