Believe in the magic of Christmas.

Christmas is coming and I can see it on this festive box of red and gold.

Inside you can see the gold squiggles and all the products!

Zoe Kravitz is on the cover of Elle magazine.

The booklet just made me more excited!

The Christmas Edition is this month’s theme!

The magazine also follows the red and gold color scheme same with the box.

They listed the items included in the box, with brief descriptions and usage tips for each.

Of course, there are high-quality group photos of the items too.

This page suggests movies we can watch while we try on different masks!

They promise that all the products in this list will last all night for parties and festivities!

They even give us a list of guideline tips for this season.

There’s a fun quiz entitled Big Fat Beauty Quiz of 2018!

A look back at their faves from 2018… but no real sneak peek for 2019. Bummer!

Everything in my box!

Model Co Karl Lagerfeld Eyebrow Pencil ($22) This eyebrow pencil makes it easy to achieve full, natural-looking brows. It applies smoothly and precisely.

Sketch in the same direction as your brows grow and fill in with sparse, short and hair like strokes.

Its color is buildable and easy to manage. Great texture too!  Read our thoughts on Karl Lagerfeld here.

thisworks Deep Sleep Pillow Spray ($3.86) To help us have a relaxing and rejuvenating deep sleep, this pillow spray is formulated with natural oils like wild chamomile, vetiver, and lavender. It smells wonderful! This one’s larger than their normal sample size and it’s perfect for holiday travel! We are huge fans!

Grow Gorgeous Scalp Detox ($8.94) This treatment aims to give us a healthier scalp and locks. The combination of plant-based actives, nourishing ingredients, Castor oil beads, white willow bark extract, and pomegranate fruit enzymes exfoliate and provide deep cleaning to remove product build-up, dry skin, and dandruff. It can be used as a weekly regimen. My scalp gets crazy with the weather change and I thought this really helped!

Lookfantastic Exclusive Beauty Sponge ($6?) This beauty blending sponge makes it easy to apply liquid makeup.

Pink and quite firm, it’s nothing like a beautyblender. This is only alright for me and I’m going to be honest – I think this is probably a better arts and crafts tool than a beauty tool. It was a bit of a filler item for me especially as its unbranded.

It’s angled and has a pointed tip at the end to reach the difficult areas of the face.

Dr. Botanicals Pomegranate Superfood Brightening Eye Serum ($25.50) Pomegranate extract and raspberry seed oil were combined with vitamin E and essential fatty acids to make this brightening and moisturizing eye serum. The formula is light and fast-absorbing. It is also cruelty-free, vegan-friendly and free of synthetic perfumes (my favorite part), colorants, and parabens. Winning!

Illamasqua Mini Hydra Veil ($8.4) OMG I didn’t know about this gel – anything about it at all! It has a bit of a scent that I didn’t like but I kept it because it leaves a fantastic silky finish on your face.  It’s enriched with microalgae, vitamin C, vitamin B3, and plant extracts to give optimum hydration. It’s technically a primer but I like it so much I’m using it all the time. Plus the gel is really bouncy and firm and I really felt bizarrely attracted to it because of that.

The non-greasy formula makes the skin a flawless base for make-up application. MIND BLOWN!

The products in this month’s box are all moisturizing! I appreciate that it’s timely because the winter season can be drying. My favorite is definitely the primer. Most of the primers are either tacky and dry but this one is a keeper and I know I’m getting the full size! They also sent us products for different purposes too! My other faves are the full-sized eye serum, scalp detox for improving hair regrowth, and pillow spray to promote beauty sleep. I think this month is a winner – even though I thought the beauty sponge was a bit of a filler! This month had about $69 in value, too!
