Julep Eyeshadow 101 Creme-To-Powder Eyeshadow Stick ($18) This is the first out of two eyeshadow sticks included in the box. Both are waterproof and has a cream to a powder consistency. The pigment sticks easily and crease-proof with a long-wearing power. It also has a built-in smudger at the other end.
It’s a yellow gold shimmer that can be easily applied to the lid without fallout. It’s pigmented and buildable. You have to control the pressure so that the pigment can easily be altered as well.
Julep Eyeshadow 101 Creme-To-Powder Eyeshadow Stick ($18) The second eyeshadow stick I got is in a pale blush matte that can work as a transition shade or give your lids a natural glow.
To avoid skin tugging, you can prime the smudger by applying the eyeshadow at the back of your hand and loading it into the smudger before use.
Julep Nail Lacquer in Nehali ($14) The nail lacquer is in a rich metallic red. I like its full coverage, plus it’s fast-drying and long-wearing too. It’s made with a proprietary 5-free, vegan-friendly formula which includes hexanal and antioxidant green coffee extract that strengthen the nails.
I’m glad they were able to send us one matte shade and one shimmer shade from their new eyeshadow collection. At least we got to try both formulas and find out if they both work effectively on the eyelid even though they have a different finish. I also love the eye-catching nail lacquer color. It came just right in time for Christmas. I’m really pleased with the quality of everything, but our box shipped very late! Although the review took a few days, December is on its way!
