Ivory Gloss is a UK based spiritual monthly subscription box that will bring you a step-by-step meditation and luxury wellness products to soothe your soul. There are two subscription levels, Blue and Gold, starting at £22 with free shipping for the UK and £11 for international.

The box came in a lovely reusable black box with a shiny elephant logo.

When you open the outer cardboard box, the black one is already open so you can dig right in! This being the October box (thanks Canada Post for all the delays), I was happy to be welcomed to black and orange!

The included ritual is adapted from traditional ceremonies for Day of the Dead. Some of the items included in this box can be used for this meditative rituals, or the can be used as inspiration to make this ritual your own.

We’ve received a Tarot Card from the Wild Unknown Tarot Deck, a lovely deck that I use quite often. I’ve received the Wheel of Fortune, a card that symbolizes a turning point. You can use the envelop for part of the ritual, where you keep your letter to your ancestors.

The tissue paper used to pack everything in the box can be reshaped into lovely marigolds that can then be used for this month’s ritual or to decorate your altar or a corner where  you like to meditate.

This Black Mahogany Scented Candle smells amazing.

It’s in a glass jar and it has a hint of wood, musk, and maybe some floral tones.

The protein Ball Co. Lemon + Pistachio. Snacks are always nice to have, and these can also be used in the ritual as an offering to the ancestor, and might as well be healthy and tasty! They have a strong taste of lemon, almost lemongrass to me, with a bit of nutty flavor.

The Body Shop Vanilla Pumpkin hand cream. A nice hand cream, not to thick, but my hands really sucked it all up! It smells amazing, and has a nice calming and soothing scent.

Palo Santo Stick. Palo Santo is a great alternative to incense or sage to clean up the air from negative energies, or just to get in the mood for meditation.

Skull Collection Detox Cleanser and Toner set. The last item is this fun set that fits the Day of the Dead theme of the box.

Both bottles are in the shape of a skull, the only difference being the color of their caps. The Steps are pretty easy: massage the Detox Cleanser onto wet skin for 2 minutes, followed by spaying the Detox Toner.

Lucky for us, the back of the skulls tells us which is which!

They are made with organic, natural, and vegan ingredients.

This was a fun box from Ivory Gloss. I liked the mix of meditation rituals and easy to use items with self-care products that still make sense with the monthly theme. I love the black skull, and the ritual is easy to follow without prior experience in meditation. And opening the box was such a joy with the lovely scents and the pop of color from the Marigolds!
