Ipsy is a monthly beauty subscription. You get five makeup, beauty, skincare, and hair care items in a cute bag for $10 a month! It’s the most popular subscription box and a great way to sample new colors and beauty brands.

The items arrived in a bubble mailer.

The December Glam Bag is a pouch with gold sequins!

This month’s theme is “Be merry. Be bright. Be bold. Be you.”

The back of the card includes tips to help you have fab holidays!

The sequined side of the pouch is glitzy and sparkly, definitely ideal for the season of merrymaking!

The other side of the pouch is made from soft leather which gives it a classic touch. The logo is engraved in gold color as well.

The inside of the pouch is lined for added padding and protection for your personal items.

Everything in my December bag!

The CrèMe Shop Holiday Mask Trio ($3 each) I got three Korean sheet masks: Limited Edition Let It Glow, Clarifying Peppermint Cocoa Sheet Mask, and Limited Edition Oh, Deer!

Instructions on how to use these sheet masks are indicated at the back of each pack.

Let It Glow helps repair damaged skin. After all, the winter weather can really be harsh. This sheet mask is packed with jojoba oil, which provides intense hydration.

Peppermint Cocoa Sheet Mask is ideal for acne prone skin as it’s designed to regulate the amount of sebum that your skin is producing. The peppermint oil also help combat acne breakouts.

Oh Deer is perfect for those whose skin is prone to inflammation and even blackheads. The lemon extract present in this face mask can detoxify your skin. Before using any of these three sheet masks, make sure that you cleanse your skin and dry it first.

F.A.R.A.H Brushes Tapered Blending Brush 35E ($10) I can never get enough makeup brushes, and this tapered blending brush is just perfect for my collection. It’s gold colored and has a nice grip too.

It’s equipped with synthetic bristles that allow better application of makeup. The good news is that the bristles are completely vegan.

Pacifica Beauty Rainbow Crystals Liquid Mineral Strobe in Nebula ($6.53) It’s a multi-use highlighter, which is an easy way to bring my holiday look to a whole new level.

I got it in Nebula, which gives off that holographic violet shade to areas where you apply it. You can swipe it on various areas of your body that you want to highlight.

Here’s the swatch! I like that it’s not too overpowering and has a beautiful pink glow!

Steve Laurant Beauty Lip Oil in Orchid ($18 Full-Size 3.2g) It’s a lip oil designed to help soften your lips while giving it protection from the sun. You can reapply this as many times as you want. The formula is gluten-free and cruelty-free.

It’s easy to apply and has a clear finish. Also, it’s not heavy or sticky.

Catrice Cosmetics Eye Shadow in Luminous Lilac ($5.90) If you want to go for soft eyes this holiday season with barely-there makeup, the luminous lilac looks like the perfect fit.

The metallic effect can be used to create a soft look, or you can deepen the application for a bolder look.

Here’s are the swatches! Above is the lip oil and below is the lilac eyeshadow. This shadow was best for a softer application – there was some fallout and I wouldn’t recommend it for really layering on.

It Cosmetics Superhero Mascara ($11.38) It’s a volumizing mascara that will make your lashes more prominent as they are stretched out. This helps your eyes look bigger too.

The brush is nicely designed to help tug your lashes forward before curling to add that dramatic effect to your eyes. The black pigment makes your lashes appear thicker, and that’s exactly what I need. This is a nice addition to my everyday makeup kit, plus it was over HALF the regular size!

Ipsy’s December curation makes sure that my skin is nourished and my makeup is on point. I love the face masks because they address specific skin conditions that tend to crop up during winter. I also like the liquid mineral strobe, the lip oil, and the lilac eyeshadow. They’ve got many of my holiday needs covered! Overall, I think this box is a huge hit for me! This month I received a bonus sixth item and the total value was about $61! Ipsy just kills it every month!
