Herb Stop is a locally owned small business out of Pine, Arizona that offers the AromaBox, a monthly essential oils subscription box. Master Herbalists Leilah Breitler and Natalie Hajdu curate their oils to a theme and all of their essential oils are 100% pure, although some of the more precious oils are thinned with jojoba oil.

AromaBox is $24.95 a month and that includes shipping, plus you can choose to receive this box once a quarter. You will receive 4 bottles of oils – 3 single essential oils (1/6 oz or 1/3 oz each) and 1 roll-on essential oil blend ready for use. Along with your oils, you will receive a flyer with details on each oil, 3 tips on using each oil, and safety information.

The Herb Stop insists that all ingredients must come from reliable and ethical sources. Leilah and Natalie believe that quality and high standards are essential to create life-enhancing herbal products that are unmatched.

FYI – AromaBox is always available through the end of the month, plus you can purchase previous boxes on their website!

DEAL: Save 15% on your first box with coupon code HELLO15.

Everything arrived safely!

There were a few handouts.

The theme for November’s box was The Sensual.

The flyer opened up to give more info on each oil. Each oil is described and then it gives you an aromatherapy tip, a tip from Leilah (a Master Herbalist), a tip from Natalie (also a Master Herbalist), and any safety precautions. There is a nice color picture of each herb and the details are easy enough for the newest essential oil enthusiast to understand. I also own an essential oil book that I can refer to but you can always find further uses on Google or Pinterest.

SAFETY NOTE: If you have any health concerns or are pregnant or nursing I would urge you to check with your doctor before using essential oils. The Herb Stop does not endorse the use of essential oils for internal use, unless under the supervision of a qualified practitioner skilled in oral administration of essential oils.

The back of the pamphlet gave info on the featured blend for this month and a recipe for a massage oil. It also had a coupon code for their shop.

Everything in my box! How can you put your new oils to use? “Essential oils can be added to carrier oils, lotions, salves, soaps, massage oils, bath salts, or used in an aromatherapy diffuser. The options are endless!”

Herb Stop Patchouli Essential Oil ($4.55) I have been hoping to receive a bottle of patchouli EO in a box and here it is!!! It is such a unique scent and I love to wear perfumes that have this fragrance note. This one smells smoky, spicy, and deeply warming. You may use it in skincare or in perfume or massage oil.

The bottles are well marked with pertinent info for each oil.

It mentions the oils origins, extraction method, part of the plant used, and if the oil is cut or pure.

All of the bottles feature a euro dropper for ease of use.

Herb Stop Coriander Essential Oil ($5.60) I’ve cooked with coriander before but this is definitely stronger than the spice that I used in the kitchen. It has an almost citrus scent, which is funny because when this seed is planted it grows up to be cilantro, and this doesn’t smell like cilantro. Place in a carrier oil to use on sore muscles.

Herb Stop Cardamom Essential Oil ($12.99) I’m not sure that I placed the correct value for this but it is the only one on the Herb Stop’s website, but while this one says it is in jojoba oil, the website states it is pure essential oil. The scent is strong and reminds me of eucalyptus or something with menthol. Just take a deep breath and let this one lift you up.

AromaBox The Sensual Aromatherapy Roll-On ($18.95) The ready to go roll-ons in this box are exclusive to the subscription, but you can find others on the Herb Stop’s website.

The base is jojoba oil and the essential oils include rose geranium and coriander.

Just roll on pulse points or inner arm and wrist. The scent smells of roses and warmth. I think it’s a good scent for this time of the year.

I am always excited to see my new oils in my monthly AromaBox! I have quite a collection thanks to this subscription and I love learning new ways to add them to my daily life. The flyer is helpful but I also look up additional uses online and I love to place new blends in my diffuser.
