Gena Graceful is a monthly or quarterly subscription that pairs cute and comfy undies with uplifting and inspiring short stories to help you choose your attitude just as carefully as you choose your underwear! Choose two pairs monthly for $15.99 or three pairs every quarter for $19.99. They’re working on international shipping right now, too, and I was really grateful that they sent me a box to review! They partner regularly with women’s shelters to donate panties, which is absolutely wonderful to hear.
First look! I really like their motto and the message behind it. The power to choose your attitude for the day is something in your hands, just like your undies.
There’s quite a bit to read in the box, including a personalized welcome to the box that outlines the aim behind it. They give you ideas on which panties to wear for which sort of mood you’re in, but encourage you not to let that limit you and pick what you feel like wearing on any day. There are 8 different traits in total, from humour to sassy, beauty, and strong.
Each box comes with some short stories from women, recounting experiences that made them feel a certain way. You can actually submit your own stories on the Gena Graceful website, for a chance at possibly being featured in a future box. I really liked how Olivia decided to go to work with the attitude that “Everything I did mattered to someone”, changing the monotony of a job you might not LOVE all the time into a better reason for being there.
“Classy women never lose their dignity” is the quote that follows Vicky’s story about having to deal with uncomfortable work events.
When you subscribe you can choose between thongs, panties, or a mix of both. I did a mix!
My Smart selection is a neutral grey thong with a very cute lace detail on the back. I love how simple the style is on the front, but the back is a bit sassier.
The lace is soft and not scratchy, and these are super comfy to wear. I sized down to an S (as I find US sizing to be a bit more forgiving!) and I probably should have gone up to a medium, at least for the thong style as they tend to sit a bit lower on my hips. The thong is 80% nylon and 20% elasthane. They definitely have some stretch to them, and are really soft! For subscribers, they offer exchanges for panties that don’t fit, which is awesome.
The Classy pair is a beautiful deep sapphire blue panty, again with a lovely lace detail on the front and some bling!
A little faux gem charm adds a sparkle to this pair. I found these full coverage panties fit me better, though if I wanted a bit more breathing room I would probably go up to an M. They are super comfortable to wear, are breathable, and I can’t get over how soft they are!
I was in for one more surprise when I removed the tissue — the bottom of the box gives some suggestions on how to repurpose it!
I’ve always found shopping for new underwear to be something fun and indulgent. Something as inexpensive as a new pair of clean underwear with a cute design or bright colour makes me happy, and Gena Graceful plays on that so well for me, reminding me to think about my attitude each morning as I choose what colour or style to wear. This is a super fun subscription that adds a thoughtful touch with the stories and quotes, and I really like the message behind it.
