The Wifey Box is a beauty and lifestyle box for all the married ladies. You can pamper yourself and invest in your marriage every month! Items sent may include a mix of beauty, skincare, accessories, snacks, and lifestyle-related products, including items that may be for your hubby. There are two versions available – The Petite Edition will have 3-4 full-sized items and is $29.99; The Grand Edition will have 4-6 full-sized items and is $43.99. Prices drop a bit for longer pre-paid plans. I am reviewing the Grand Edition!

Without ruining the surprise, let’s just say you’ll have access to some amazing brands representing beauty & skincare, along with other great accessories. Plus, you may get a few tasty snacks mixed in!

Everything in my box! My items were packed in shredded pink paper squiggles and everything arrived safely!

I received a sheet with info on my items and MSRP values.

Naiad Soap Arts Lemon Sugar Body Cream ($18) Oh, this is super nice! It’s a shea butter based moisturizing body cream that isn’t greasy and smells amazing! My body absorbed it quickly and I could catch a whiff of the scent for at least an hour afterwards.

It smells like lemon pie/cake/cookies. It has that fresh burst of the sunny citrus but there is something warm and nutty underneath, possibly from the shea butter. This is so sweet, I love it!

Sugar Shak Oatmeal & Honey Bath Bomb ($2.57) A warm bath is a good way to relax in the evening and a bath bomb adds an extra special touch to the ritual. Whether you’re in the bath by yourself or with your significant other is totally up to you.

This one is made with shea butter, cocoa butter, and coconut oil with a classic fragrance that works for husband or wife. This is a smaller version of the one available on the Sugar Shak site, which is a whooping 7 ounces (mine says 3 ounces, so golf ball sized and not softball sized).

Vision Words Be Happy Sticky Notes ($7.95) features 50 sticky notes with positive affirmations.

“Statements that Stick”.

You can place them wherever you want to see a positive message.

I flipped through them and I believe each note is different, I didn’t notice any repeats. You could use these as a bookmark but I don’t think they would be good for writing on.

Beau Gachis Paris Eyebrow Brush ($9.95) and Beau Gachis Paris Eye Shader Brush ($9.95) Two makeup brushes were included to help me master my smokey eye look.

The top brush is dense and helps fill in brows. Just use it with a brow powder to fill in bare spots or to make brows stand out boldly. The eye shader brush can be used to place eye shadow in the crease or lids. I used it both to blend the eye crayon (shown below) and to smudge the eye liner (also shown below).

Here’s a closeup of the brush heads, with the blender on top, brow brush on bottom. Both brushes seemed well made and I didn’t find any loose bristles.

Cargo Cosmetics Swimmables Long Wear Eye Shadow Stick ($20) I just missed out on the October box, which featured a beautiful Cargo eye shadow palette, but I was pretty eager to try the two Cargo eye makeup items sent this month!

First up is the Swimmables eye shadow stick in Morro Bay. This shade is a copper brown color with a bit of glimmer. I used it in my crease but make sure to blend it quickly because once it dries it stays in place!

I thought it lasted for such a long time without smearing. It’s a hit! Plus, you just twist it to reveal more product.

I also received Cargo Cosmetics Swimmables Eye Pencil ($18) in Black Sea. I used it with the above shadow stick and then stood outside for 4 hours on a damp windy night at a football game, which ended in pouring rain. My eye makeup looked remarkably well when I got home, and that was over 12 hours after applying it. The next day I didn’t get quite the same results but I think it works better than most I’ve tried.

Just sharpen with a standard sharpened when needed but I really liked the pointy way it started out and I was able to place it precisely where I wanted it.

Here are both products swatched. I wiped them off but still could see it the next day after my shower. That’s some longevity there!

Chronicle Books Box Of Dares ($10.95) is the couples product featured this month. It is a new release and is rated #1 in the Amazon “general sexual health” book category out of 75 items.

It has 100 “sexy prompts for couples” ranging from sweet and cute to X-rated and bold. Don’t worry, I’m only showing a couple of PG-13 ones.

Each prompt is serrated so you can tear it off and get down to business. Or in this case pleasure.

Hmm, this could get interesting.

I liked my very first box from The Wifey Box! It was pretty heavy on the beauty and self-care items which is fine by me but then it had a couples activity too. I’ll be celebrating my 30-year wedding anniversary in a few months so it was nice to receive something that will help me put some focus on my marriage. The makeup, brushes, and body care items were all of good quality and I have been using the eye items all week and will continue to use them, while the lotion is just dreamy. My box had a value of around $97.37, or more than twice the price paid for the box! I’m really excited to see what comes in future boxes!
