This month’s featured socks are made using 80% combed cotton, 15% spandex, and 5% elastane that fit men’s sizes 7-13.
Society Socks dedicated themselves to donate a pair of socks to a homeless shelter for each pair of socks sold. I thought the care instructions are a little restrictive, as they proscribe tumble drying. I’ve never had any issues with cotton or synthetic socks in the dryer, though, so I think they are being very conservative.
The first pair looks really cool and fitting for winter. It has a maroon base with navy blue heels, toes, and cuffs.
It also comes with geometric designs: navy blue alternating circles and white flower patterns.
The combination of colors, as well as the layout of the pattern, is fun and unique.
Both pairs of socks have a cut that works well for dress or casual wear. It is a mid-height crew length, but the thickness and feel is closer to that of a dress sock. The second pair of socks is blue and red striped with blue cuffs, heels, and toes.
The blue is slightly less dark than the version of navy blue on the other pair — it is a bit more toward a royal blue. The red is a little more on the salmon side than the dark brick color of the other pair.
Society Socks never fails to surprise us with fun and comfortable socks! I like both pairs I received this month. The designs and color choices are classy, and they’re ideal whether for casual outfits or business attire. Also, knowing that they are donating a pair of socks for every pair of socks purchased makes me feel all warm and fuzzy about this subscription!
