Slutbox by Amber Rose is a monthly subscription for empowering women and showing off their fierce side to the world. You can get this box for $29.99 plus free shipping anywhere in the US. This subscription box contains unique items that are curated by Amber Rose to help make you feel good from the inside out.

The name of this box is designed to reclaim hateful language about women. You may disagree! You can read more about it on their site or see the page in the zine below that discusses the name of the box. And yes, to go ahead and answer your question – it gets delivered in the mail just like this.

FYI – if it wasn’t already clear, this is a box with adult language and themes and isn’t appropriate to read at work.

SlutBox by Amber Rose is an inclusive, feminist box, built each month to empower, uplift, and celebrate the fierceness of you (and give you all the tools you need to own your space and make your mark).

From beauty, fashion, body, and more, SlutBox is packed with essentials every SLUT needs to feel sexy, confident, and ready for anything. You want it? Oh, baby. We’ll give it to you good.

The items are wrapped in pink tissue paper.

This magazine is packed with lots of useful information.

The Zine’s cover has cute and interesting illustrations as always. This month, it gives a nod to the Halloween season.

Amber Rose has given the word slut a different connotation. This box is all about inclusivity, diversity, ending rape culture, and promoting health and sex in a positive light. Besides the table of contents, they featured photos sent in by some of SlutBox’s subscribers.

There’s a message from the curator!

This part of the magazine lists all the products included in the box. There are photos and descriptions, as well as retail prices.

For some of the items, they even included tips on how to use them.

Everything looks exciting!

Here’s a featured Slut of the Month, a person with an inspiring story which others can emulate or draw strength from.

They usually tackle thought-provoking and taboo topics and usually share awareness and updates on women’s rights.

Here’s a regular feature in the zine, the Whoreoscopes! It provides predictions of the future depending on your Zodiac sign.

Now, they talk about how to handle catcalling! It’s a long time problem that never seems to disappear but I loved that this magazine addresses it because no one really likes to be whistled at. But always prioritize safety first, so if you feel like it is not an appropriate situation to clap back, just ignore.

Everything in the box!

We get our monthly dose of promotional discount or coupon cards from different featured brands.

FlyBy Recovery Capsules ($1.80) These are the recovery capsules you need to overcome a bad case of a hangover. It has natural and high-quality ingredients that boost the body’s natural response to alcohol. It prevents the symptoms like nausea, dry mouth, and loss of appetite. It also replenishes the lost nutrients because of alcohol by having spirulina, vitamins, and magnesium.

It’s vegan-friendly, free of preservatives, artificial colors, and gluten. It’s also non-GMO. Just take 3 capsules with food and water before drinking and take another 3 before bed.

Yu-Be Skincare Advanced Formula Pure Hydration Cream with Chamomile Extract ($1.60) It’s a concentrated moisturizer that has high glycerin content that smooth rough or extremely dry skin. You can apply it anywhere on the face, lips, or any part body that needs extra hydration. Yu-Be has a self-hyped cult following and I’m just not all that crazy about it. It’s also starting to show up in a lot of boxes!

Kocostar Lip Mask Black Cherry Soothing & Glow ($38) This black hydrogel lip patch certainly fits the Halloween mood! It is infused with botanical extracts and moisturizing properties.

Love the badass packaging!

Each Lip Mask contains 20 gel patches. Each patch is for one-time use only.

Apply this before putting on lip make up so that it will just glide smoothly on lips and it will stay hydrated for a long time. I was really surprised to see an entire pack instead of a single individual lip mask.

O.R.G. Skincare Mineral Peel Body ($12.99; $28 on the card) To prevent the skin from trapping dirt and debris from outside elements, this organic mineral peel will remove deep-rooted debris to reduce the appearance of dull skin and blemishes. The peel instantly removes unpleasant shedding in a matter of seconds. Just apply 2 to 3 times weekly on the face or body – it’s one of those rub in and everything balls up peels. Kinda gross but use it right before the shower!

My Minimo Skincare Glow Skin Brightening Face Scrub ($12.95) For a youthful appearance and even skin tone, just massage this scrub on your damp face in a circular motion twice per day for 2 to 3 weeks. You can leave it on for ten minutes for luxurious pampering, rinse and pat dry. The combination of key ingredients of turmeric, raw manuka honey, chamomile extract, abyssinian oil, and hemp seed oil gently but effectively exfoliate without being abrasive. It doesn’t clog pores but avoid applying on eyebrows as the turmeric also works as a natural facial hair remover.

I don’t think I’ve ever written that in 5 years of reviews!

Lifestyles Zero Condoms ($5.95) This micro-thin straight shape latex is one of the thinnest condoms out there.

It is made with Premium Ultraglide Lubricant and has a smooth texture and light natural color. There’s 3 inside every pack.

Neva Nude Muva Rose Pasties ($9.99) These pasties have a luxurious glitter velvet finish that can withstand parties, wild nights, or nipple fashion emergencies.

The packaging includes instructions on how to use the pasties.

They are hypoallergenic and latex-free with medical grade adhesive so it’s safe for the nipples. It can last for 10 to 12 hours with easy application and to spice up your cutest outfits.

The Vintage Cosmetics Company Peach Shower Cap ($9.70) It’s a waterproof pink shower cap.

It is made up of polyester fabric with polyethylene vinyl acetate elasticized lining.

It feels durable and it does give me vintage vibes!

I think they are keeping it more tame and simpler than the past boxes. The only daring thing is the condoms. I enjoyed looking at the rose pasties though, and the skin care items are pretty useful. My favorite part of the box – the magazine – seems downsized. If I ignore the presence of any sexytime items, this is a great beauty/lifestyle box. If I think about it in terms of the sex and sexual-health related items, it’s usually a bummer. This month wasn’t too bad, but not a wow in that department.  I loved the advanced bodycare items in the box this month and I just have my fingers crossed that Slutbox can achieve a little more (ahem) penetration in the adult industry to obtain high quality non-sample products with a better variety.
