Here’s my October SinglesSwag box! Byrd’s cookies!!! Yum! And look at the pretty bangle. Can’t wait to get into this box.

The information card contains a brief description of each item and its value. This month’s quote is, “when you’re thinking about who to be good to, think of you.” Sometimes we get so caught up in taking care of others and treating them well that we lose ourselves. Take a minute or two to do something good for you!

Violet Harper | Knot Bangle ($78):  The Violet Harper site is still under construction and the only places selling this piece were re-sellers whose prices were significantly lower. If you like this, stay tuned for when the site is completed. Moving on, this elegant silver tone bracelet features a simple knot design. The clean look lends itself well to stacking with other pieces or being worn alone. Having larger wrists, I was happy that this was an open bangle/cuff style so that I could adjust to fit.

Nelson J | Moisture Healing Hair Mask ($24):  Just for reference, the tube I received is 3.4 oz., and I linked to a set of (3) 1.0 oz. tubes. This conditioning mask can be used several ways – regular conditioner for a quick treatment, pre-shampoo treatment, or as a leave-in conditioner. It is loaded with a ton of hair healing ingredients such as coconut oil, argan oil, jojoba oil, olive oil, and Vitamin E. Although I am not a fan of the coconut scent, I can say that I am a fan of this hair mask. For me, it worked better as a deep conditioning and as a quick treatment mask, leaving my hair softer and shinier. It wasn’t as good as a leave-in on my fine hair. It actually weighed it down some. I think this option is better if you have thicker or coarse hair.

NCLA | Compact Mirror ($10):  SinglesSwag seems to love NCLA beauty accessories, and I’m not mad about that. This slim compact features both standard and magnifying mirrors. Plus, it reminds you that beauty is subjective… be true to you and what you find beautiful.

Byrd’s Toasted Pumpkin Cookies ($4):  How can anyone resist a cookie whose first ingredient is butter!?! Byrd’s cookies are another SinglesSwag favorite, and I get excited for the seasonal flavors that come in my boxes. The toasted pumpkin tasted more like a spiced cookie than pumpkin and was a nice compliment to my morning coffee (yes, I had cookies for breakfast… don’t judge me.  LOL). These bite sized crispy, crumbly delights are loaded with cinnamon, Georgia pecans, brown sugar, and vanilla. Plus, they have white chocolate chips. More please.

Jules Kae | Copper Clutch ($65):  This is another item that I was only able to find on re-seller sites and for much less. I did link to the Jules Kae site as there are some cute bags available. This pebbled PU leather bag is more rose gold than copper, and I feel that the size is closer to that of a wristlet. Speaking of, I would have preferred that this came with some kind of a strap.  I don’t think I’ll use this as a clutch, but rather to hold small items in my purse.

Preheels | Blister Prevention Spray ($15):  Where was this product when I used to wear heels on a regular basis? It could have saved my feet from blisters (which lead to scars). This hypoallergenic, dermatologist approved spray helps reduce friction on your skin. Spray onto clean dry feet, wait 60-90 seconds, and enjoy 6 hours of no rub with your shoes. This works with any shoe, not just heels.

Seraphine Botanicals | Apple + Mint Lip Polish ($20):  I wish that I could give you a firsthand account of how this product worked, but my sister swiped it from me. She’s a big fan of anything apple flavored. This sugar scrub gently exfoliates and nourishes lips with its combination of rose water, mango seed butter, avocado oil, and apricot oil. It is hypoallergenic and non-comedogenic. With fall coming up, dark lip colors will be returning and you’ll want smooth lips for a flawless base.

October’s SinglesSwag box has a listed value of $216, which is huge compared to the price of a single box! However, I wasn’t able to verify the prices for the 2 highest retail items, so that value could be lower. Regardless, I was very happy with the products I received and will be using them all. Apart from the cookies, my favorite items are a toss up between the bangle and the hair mask. Any standout items for you? Let me know your thoughts by leaving a comment below.

Whether you’re single or attached, I think you can enjoy this box. Plus, what a great monthly box if you’re searching for something to replace your monthly POPSUGAR Must Have Box!
