Pop In A Box November 2018 Funko Subscription Box Review & Coupon

Hello Subscription may earn compensation via links in this post. Read the full disclosure

Pop In A Box is a monthly Funko POP! vinyl figure subscription. Every month, you will receive the number of POP! figures you order (starting at $9.99 per POP!).

In all seriousness, they have a totally awesome and exhaustive Pop tracker that you should sign in to use if you have any sort of Pop collection (we have quite a few). Shipping is always a flat $4.99 but you can get as many as 12 POP!s a month.

You can block Pops from being sent, rate pops in their tracker, and if you track your collection with their tracker and subscribe you will not receive any dupes. They do give away figures randomly to subscribers.

When you sign up you can add POP!s to your collection, thumbs up and down (never get a thumbs down, more likely to get a thumbs up). Everything that you Thumbs Down will be blocked, and you can pull them back out if your tastes/fandoms change. Thumbs Up will place the Pops on your Wish List.

I do find it fun and easy to do the thumbs up & down a couple times a week, and I suggest filling out your collection and blocking any POP!s you hate and marking any POP!s you really want before actually subscribing.

DEAL: Save 20% on your first $20+ order! No coupon required, just use this link to subscribe.

Once you’re signed up you’ll get a new pops email whenever they add new pops to the shop – and then you’ll know it’s time to do thumbs up/down.

There’s not a lot of fanfare with this box. Here are my contents! I have found that the boxes are usually in great condition but we take them out because our kids play with them.

Note: When you receive your Pops from PIAB they will not be added to your collection. They don’t track what you get, so when you get them, add them to your tracker so you don’t receive them again (and don’t forget to add all the other Pops you get to your tracker too).

Pop! Rides Hogwarts Express Engine With Harry Potter Vinyl Figure ($33.56) Seeing this one got us really excited to unbox everything! Just looking at it from the window box, I know it will be one of our precious Harry Potter-themed POPs!

As always, the back lists other POPs you can get from this series.

We all know that one of the means of transportation to get you to the glorious Wizarding School is this train, and here’s Harry, dressed exactly like in the first movie!

As an incoming freshman at Hogwarts, he’s not yet wearing a uniform so he has on his checkered top and brown pants.

Look at that messy hair, a trademark of Harry’s!

Do you remember the scene where Hermione fixed his glasses? It seems like this version hasn’t met the girl on the train yet and his glasses aren’t fixed yet! Now, I can hear her say “Reparo” inside my head.

The train is gorgeous! I wish I also had the tracks and the castle (I admit, my kids have asked for the massive Lego Hogwarts set and I want it too!)! This train is giving me all the Potter feels!

“5972” really has a significance as it stands for the Steam Locomotive no. 5972 Olton Hall.

The paint job is absolutely stunning!

Every detail is captured perfectly!

This really reminds me of the movie scenes where the kids were riding the train going to Hogwarts!

There’s Harry finally going to Hogwarts, where his quest to become one of the greatest wizards starts!

I also remembered that time when the dementors attacked Harry while riding the train, and that’s where he first encountered Remus Lupin!

There are lots of happy memories inside this classic train, and one of them is the Honeydukes Express, where you can get not only food and sweets but a copy of the Daily Prophet as well.

I would love to ride this train and get to Hogwarts IRL.

This is certainly one of my favorite POP! Rides to date!

Pop! Ralph Breaks The Internet Taffyta Vinyl Figure ($9.99) Next up, we got Taffyta from the upcoming film, Ralph-Breaks-the-Internet!

Aside from her, you can also get the other characters from the movie!

This character is from the game Sugar Rush! She’s the one who doesn’t want to race against a glitch.

Taffyta Muttonfudge is her whole name, and she is a minor antagonist in the movie who bosses and bullies the others, especially Vanellope, as she is the second best next to King Candy.

Here’s her official description from the game:

The lollipop-lickin’ Taffyta Muttonfudge is a top-notch racer in the game Sugar Rush. She is a fierce competitor who keeps her eyes on the prize and isn’t afraid to derail anyone who gets in her way. Though King Candy is Sugar Rush‘s reigning racing champion, Taffyta always manages to give him a run for his money with her wicked driving skills.

Pop! Ralph Breaks The Internet Fun Bun Vinyl Figure ($10.90) I remember this guy from the trailers and his scene cracks me up every time!

This is making us more excited for the movie!

Fun Bun is the bunny from the game Pancake Milkshake. It is a mobile game where you make the bunny eat the pancake, and let the kitten drink the milkshake.

Fun Bun became so big after Ralph lets him eat all the pancakes!

We can see here that Fun Bun is not having fun at all! He even can’t take another stack of pancakes into his mouth!

Still, he’s an adorable bunny!

From here, we can see that he’s also wearing a green collar-like ribbon around his neck.

These guys are making me excited for the upcoming films this month!

This set of POP!s actually reminded me that the movies are coming in the theaters and it doubles our excitement! We love the Wizarding World, and we love Disney too! Wreck-it-Ralph is a good movie so we’re expecting that the sequel will be good as well. And of course, who is not excited about the coming Fantastic Beasts film? They’re actually coming to Hogwarts so one better way to get to the school is riding the famous train! Adding Harry to it makes it more special! We really love the POP!s this month, and now, we’re about to thumbs up some POP!s on the website to get the POP!s we wanted and update our trackers so that we won’t get any dupes, it’s that easy! Total win with the train Pop!, what a great month!
