Bubbles & Books is a monthly subscription that sends a romance book and items to help you relax in your tub after a long day doing whatever you do. Need a break from the hectic workday? Step inside your bath/spa. Wrangling little ones under your feet? Time for a bit of me-time in the tub. What can you expect from this subscription?

Every box contains at least one romance novel, one artisan-crafted soap, and one other book- or bath-related goody. However, the majority of our boxes contain more than this!

Bubbles & Books is $24 a month plus shipping. My items this month were wrapped in pink tissue paper and then had natural kraft squiggles in the box. This box smelled amazing right when I opened it. I couldn’t wait to dig in and see what all was included!

Bubbles & Books has 3 options to choose from: The Bad Boy Box, The Luxe Paranormal Box, and The Swept Away Box.

DEAL: Get 10% off on your first box! Use coupon code SOAKME.

This month’s box came with another of the tiny fonted notes telling us about the Campfire theme.

London’s Wicked Affair by Annabelle Bryant( $4.49) A little sister who is interested in her big brother’s friend? This can’t lead to anything good but it always is very entertaining to read. Set the whole story into the bygone London setting and I see a rainy day read in the making.

In Anabelle Bryant’s wickedly romantic new series, secrets and seduction go hand in hand . . .

Lunden Beckford, Duke of Scarsdale, has chosen to exile himself far from London, with its painful memories and cruel gossip. Forced back to town on business, he’s eager to make his stay as brief as possible. But first, he must honor his promise to find a suitable husband for his friend’s little sister. On one hand, Amelia Strathmore has grown into a stunning, statuesque beauty. On the other, the willful chit is more likely to scandalize a drawing room with her outspoken opinions than blush prettily. At least she agrees to accept his help—if he fulfills
certain conditions . . .

Though duty-bound to marry, Amelia longs to secretly enjoy some of life’s freedoms first. In this, as in many things, Lunden proves an excellent guide. In fact, Amelia’s girlhood admiration for her brother’s friend is fast becoming something far less innocent. Lunden believes he’s known too much darkness to offer any woman happiness. Yet Amelia is starting to see how much pleasure can lie within the right partnership—especially if one is willing to be a little wicked . . .

Chocolate Mint Soap – This is why the box smells so delicious. This chocolate mint soap has a deep, rich chocolatey scent combined with some peppermint undertones that mix wonderfully. I mean really this smells so good I feel like you could take a bite out of it.

Harvest Apple Bath Bomb – Apple is one of my go-to scents when I’m buying soaps and bath products. I just love the fall smell and how it can easily transfer you to a cooler brisk time.  The Harvest Apple Bath bomb has a sweet, spicy scent and a hint of pumpkin.

No campfire box could be complete without some fire. Bubbles & Books sent a little citronella tea light for us to enjoy and to keep away the bugs and mosquitoes. I’m a mosquito magnet so always appreciate the citronella. To keep our place while reading, we also got a campfire-themed bookmark.

I have no idea what I’m going to do with this little bag but I’m obsessed. It is just so cute and has my favorite dessert right on the front. I love Smores and this bag is just so fun. The saying is even just the right amount of cheeky. “It was Smore fun with you” for sure!

I took a quick pic of this and sent it right over to my friends. We were all LOL at it and have now been saying it non-stop when the occasion arises. I mean really it works for so many different things.  Don’t you think? “It’s all fun and games until somebody loses a weiner” sticker is our new go-to fun.

My Bubbles & Books Campfire box smells so good that I’ve been letting it sit right next to me while I’m working on the review. I love the soaps I get every month and this one is no exception. All the fun items in here really do take me right back to my camp days and all the fun I had. Of course, I would not have read a book like this back then but I just take it as adult camp fun now.  I could do with some adult camp fun.

What do you think of this month’s box? Do you love to smell your soaps?
