There is not much with this box. Just the monthly books and some themed tissue paper.

My October Teenage Dreams books are Please Don’t tell by Laura Tims and One of Us by Jeannie Waudby. This month I got two hardback books.

Please Don’t tell by Laura Tims ($9.89) – Ohh, I was a Pretty Little Liars fanatic and I can’t wait to check out the sequel when it comes out. This looks to have lots of twists and turns and I can’t wait to find out what really happened.

Debut author Laura Tims writes an intense and utterly gripping contemporary YA tale perfect for fans of Pretty Little Liars. Joy has done everything to protect her twin sister…including murder.

Joy killed Adam Gordon for what he did to her sister, Grace. At least, that’s what she thinks happened. Now Adam can’t hurt anyone ever again, and her sister can be free from the boy who harmed her.

But someone else knows what Joy did, and they’re going to out her as a cold-blooded killer if she doesn’t expose the scandalous secrets bubbling just below the surface of her mundane town. As the demands escalate, and she finds herself falling for Adam’s half brother, Joy must figure out the blackmailer’s identity before everything spirals out of control.

One of Us by Jeannie Waudby ($14.84) – Another fun spy story. I’ve been following along with all the Veronica Mars news lately and her spy fun so this book piques my interest. Don’t you love when a book reminds you of something you already enjoy? I can only imagine that the trapdoor she finds is a romance.

When Two Truths and One Lie Turn Deadly . . .

A narrow escape from a bomb attack.
A radical insurgent organization on the rise.
A place and a people to call her own.

K has a choice to make, and her answer is yes.

Yes to spying.
Yes to making right wrongs of the past.
Yes to leading a double life.

But when the two worlds lead to one trapdoor,
will K be able to avoid falling through?

Another two new authors for me from BookCase.Club this month. I love finding new authors to read and discover. Bookcase club is a great low-cost subscription to keep me with reading material for the whole month. Both of the book this month have a bit of mystery and espionage mixed in which is a genre I really enjoy so I can’t wait to dive in and check them out.
